I am a currently level 88 going on 89, and I have been farming the Ring of Mendeln for hte longest. There is not telling how many Helltide jewelry ring chest, legions, and nightmare dungeons I have done. I have been searchin for this since level 60, and I am soloing at least tier 40 nightmare dungeons. Any one know what I am missing and the reason this isn’t dropping for me no matter how hard I farm? Thanks.

Same story here. There is seriously something wrong with their RNG for loot. I’ve seen like 10+ frostburn, penitent greaves, greaves of the empty tomb, and howl from below. 5 deathless visage, bloodless scream, and mother’s embrace and exactly zero ring of mendeln. Currently lvl 94

I don’t seem to be able to get anything but rings of Mendeln. The worst part is that they keep dropping for my non-summoner necro.

Same I have ton of that ring and blood necks. U was farming bone spirit chest for god knows how long and as soon I got 1st it dropped 3 more times in a row. I thought its RNG but its like that with every Item I get it just drops couple of more time after that. On lvl 90necro I droped countless rings, necks and 2h scythes meanwhile I havent seen even 1 1h scythe c: (ofc Im talking about uniques only)

I just got my 3rd one last night from a high 40 nm reward. I’m not a minion build but maybe push higher sigils and you could get lucky.
Ring of Mendeln? I can’t even get the Exposed Flesh aspect, Level 82 and I gave up. I’m not sure if these are rare aspects or a bug, it’s a decent aspect, nothing more special than some of the others.

Same here no ring and no aspect . Rng to determine if a class is playable is a stupid design.

RNG gunna rng. Some people will find 5 in one hour. Other’s will play for 10,000 hours and never find one.
I see it as a massive flaw in the rng- power progression system.

Yeah this game drops what you won’t use for your build and nothing that you need. Pretty much backwards.

Any time you spent farming helltides chests for the ring prior to the patch was dead time, they weren’t dropping uniques prior to recent patch. I’ve had tons of rings, all from nightmare dungeons. I’ve had 2 or more of every single necro item, leveled up entirely in nightmare dungeons. If you want an item keep doing NM dungeons, eventually it will drop.

I’m lvl 97 and I’ve been farming NM dungeons/Helltide events for weeks without success. In fact, do to my inability to find it, I’ve recently switched to a crit based Infinimist build.

Huh?! How? I can’t even get one, and I have been farming just as hard as everyone. Do you find that there are somethings that just never drop for you? The said thing is that I am pushing over 40 tier, and still no drop. This makes me feel sad for all of us. Some people get it too much and others don’t get it at all. Are most people that are getting it running another build besides minions?

I have yet to see a single drop of Greaves of the Empty Tomb, and I’ve only seen Bloodless Scream once. Never seen Deathspeaker’s Amulet at all. Haven’t seen Doombringer at all, but that one hardly anyone will ever lay eyes on.
Other than the ones specifically mentioned above, I’ve seen at least two of everything unique to necro. Ring of Mendeln in particular seems to just keep dropping.
The rng is weird. I have multiple copies of all the Necromancer specific uniques plus Fists of Fury, Frostburn, and Penitent Greaves. Most, but not all, gotten from NM dungeons.
Not sure if it means anything, but I found my first Mendeln at level 89. Another at level 90. A third one at level 92.

I’ve ONLY run minion builds and have found 4-5 Rings total. I highly doubt your build has anything to do with it. I’ve only found two black rivers, I would like to find more but it is what is: RNG.
I’m 92 and I haven’t seen one yet, so I have you beat. It is what it is, good old RNG. You aren’t “missing” anything, it’s random.

I’ve found every Necro unique 2-4 times except the ring, at 95-96 now

I am at 91 now and been running teir 40+ nightmare dungeons ands still haven’t found anything. Where are you all finding the rings? Are they in helltides, nightmare dungeons, normal dungeons, events, etc.? Literally, I have no clue where to find it. Blizzard need to either increase the drop rate and keep it at random places or designate something specific for farming it.
