Also, obviously LFG is just something they haven’t gotten around to, because the game was released unfinished & they’re sorting out the code (while pushing out content for us to test). This doesn’t require a leap of logic, unlike your contorted & logic-bereft cri de coeur.
Action rpgs are meant to be solo games for the most part.

My clan hasn’t filled up yet and we have a large group of active and helpful folx. It’s called Eternal Pontificate and you’re welcome to seek us out.
The way I started recruiting people is probably also your best bet for finding a guild/clan. The trade channel in chat is server wide, if you post in there that you’re looking for a clan the I’m certain you’ll get some invites.
I’m not particularly a fan of guild finders, but the game has a mechanism in place currently you can use.

As with most generalizations, what’s wrong with it is it’s not helpful. Even if “Action rpgs” were “meant to be” solo “for the most part”… they aren’t solo, so it means nothing. Much of D4 in particular is designed around multiplayer, even activities that most players do solo. So LFG is just an item on a to-do list that they’ve had to de-prioritize because other stuff requires their attention (in part because the game was released in an unfinished state).

Funny I see no clans, nobody talks to each other in game, nobody trades. The same was true of every Diablo game and any action rpg I ever played. It is all about the solo game and getting away from people unless there are group events going on.
I tried at the start but clans were full or would just reject me. I tried to start my own and nobody joined. I have deemed it a standard single player action rpg ever since.
If that was the case why did groups get 4x loot in all activities prior to this current implementation of the pits?
Diablo is 100% a solo game.
