I don’t understand, why can’t I play them with my existing character?
What’s this nonsense about having to create a new character each time.

Here we go again. This should be a fun thread.
because thats the rule of this game, or any seasonal arpg for that matter.
dont like it? play eternal.
For the 27th time or is it 72 now?

I got the
ready. Pass me some Reeces Pieces.
I can’t understand either side, pro ladder and con ladder players.
While I could never play a non ladder character ever again because of how useless it is imo (no competition anymore, no race, nothing, no fresh start for everyone) I also hate the idea of starting new and playing a same class that I already have that already has perfect gear.
Maybe I’m a weird person but I honestly just start at a ladder, make a new char and play 2-3 weeks and quit til next season.
I already lost all my motivation to grind pits and nmd’s for that small increase in stats and to push a few numbers higher. I’m not a min maxer, never was… I use to be. I use to decline a Maras 29 for an Ist rune and trade a Maras 30 for 6 ist runes. Was it stupid? Yes. But it had 1 res more.
At this point I am questioning if I ever enjoyed ARPGs. They are basically lame if you think about it to long. Thats why I dont think about ARPGs I just play them 2-3 weeks, get BiS gear to enable a fun build and quit as fast as I can until next season.
I also feel very sad for ARPG Streamers. Playing ARPGs 24/7 is really hard. Imagine having to level 5 characters to level 100. I almost cryed of boredom getting this one to 100 and it’s very fast already.
On the bright side if you’re just figuring this out now, you can stop wasting your time on ARPGs and go enjoy yourself in other games or activities. I see it as a win.
How about some BBQ beef ribs and Polska Kielbasa?
Honestly, what is so great about ARPGs?
Did you ever ask this yourself?
I’m not saying I don’t enjoy them because I do but only for 2-3 weeks.
In D2 back then it was the trading simulator that was fun to me. Getting the good stuff like torches and getting really wealthy the first two days in a Pala/ Sorc team.
After 4 weeks I threw everything around in “N free pls” games.
Ribs I will take, I was forced to eat Polska Kielbasa as a kid and honestly I hated it. I hate most sausage actually. The texture is fine, it’s just the taste. Not a fan of the majority of sausages out there.
Okay you can change out the Kielbasa for.
What the heck party at Avalon’s I will make all of it if someone brings the chips (I love Ruffles).
meng why is this such a controversial question i mean seriously why can’t i iplay on seasonal realm with main char?
as i said, because thats the rule of this arpg and actually any other arpg of this kind.
i just made myself some pasta bolognese :3 of course with like 20 pound of cheese.
ARPGs to me are no different than any other video game I play. Now depending on the ARPG they can be very simplistic in their nature such as the Diablo franchise, overly complicated with a huge amount of systems thrown at you like PoE, or a mix like LE, and other various titles.
I still enjoy D4 and ARPGs like it in general, but it won’t keep my interest forever. D2 certainly didn’t, nor did PoE, Torchlight, D3, etc. A new season may bring new life into these types of games, but if I’m not enjoying the basics of the game, I’m not going to push myself to play through some
extra content.
I’ve been through a good amount of PoE’s leagues myself, but the past several I’ve skipped. The game just doesn’t hold my interest anymore and I found myself logging in, doing the exact same things with just another system thrown on top of everything else. More power to those who still enjoy it, I just don’t anymore.
Cheddar and sour creme ruffles by chance?
Also I’d be fine with all of those meats. I’ll be making home made tacos tonight. We have Taco Tuesdays. Doesn’t mean it’ll always be tacos, but more or less Mexican cuisine themed. Last week we had fajitas, and the week before was chicken quesadillas.
damn its been ages since i had tacos. maybe ill get some stuff for it tomorrow so i can have some on thursday, which is a holiday here.
Seasonal realms are for seasonal characters only, that’s really the gist of it. There’s many facets as to why, allowing for entry for new to the game players, leveling the playing field for everyone back to a level 0 state. So on and so forth. It’s how most if not all ARPGs work.
I make double deckers myself, taco shells wrapped with smaller tortillas with beans in between, then just normal taco stuff inside the taco shell. I eat about 4 of those. I got a fast metabolism, harder for me to put on weight. My fiancé hates me for it.
Sometimes we make crunch wraps, soft tacos, burritos, etc.
damn, that sounds like its something that one regrets once you visit the toilet. sounds yummy tho :o
edit: patch is there btw.
My excitement it to pick a class then pick a skill focus or build and then try to make it work. This new seasons loot changes made that even more possible. And I would focus on that with every new season. Preference is to have a new character. For instance, this season I remade my human storm druid from Season 2 that hit a cap at NM93 to really test the loot changes at allowing for more power in tertiary build concepts. It worked. TO a degree, it kind just scaled everything up I think. Still fun.
