I’d give it an honest 5. Minimally good. There’s a lot that needs to be done to push it up to an excellent (8+)

Exactly. I don’t care what the average citizen who plays video games thinks. I want to know what the sweaty nerds think. The real gamers. The people who spend so much time on these things that other areas of their life suffer. The people who video games used to be made for.

Diablo 4 is similar. You start with a build that’s okay without aspects. You hope to the skies that you can find the aspects for the current OP build for leveling. Once you get that, you start collecting aspects for the current OP build for endgame.
There’s no real movement during either of these journies. It can be broken down to Non-aspect/set build → Leveling aspect/set build → Endgame aspect set build.
Three specs. Anything outside of them and you’re objectively worse than your fellow < insert class >

literally all buffs and explained in multiple youtube videos as to why it is all buffs, im not going to spell it out for you more than i already did. go do the maths and compare 1 hour of gameplay before and after patch.

I started watching it. It was a quick reminder of how much I dislike the graphics of this game. Everything just looks brown tinted and has a desaturated color palette. Just one more to add to the list of crazy decisions.
You can make the game more colorful.
Because the game is terrible. Score reflects the quality of the game.

I mean everyone can obviously just tell that the game released unfinished regardless but it is nice to have actual confirmation. The same thing happened with D3.

In all seriousness, you can continue to ignore reality, no one really cares how you feel about it but one day reality is going to catch up to you and you will wonder how it happened.

So, how do I know that they are leaving positive bot reviews? Because I have looked at the reviews on many of these shill review sites. It’s not uncommon for positive review bombs to happen, particularly when a person/business pays for the service. It’s not uncommon knowledge that it happens and it often happens in wake of people leaving real negative reviews about a service or product.
You can look at reviews on Amazon or Google Play and see that the 5 star reviews are completely auto-generated bot responses. I have seen reviews for a t-shirt that was “5-Stars : It tastes great and goes good on spaghetti!”
It’s funnier to me that people like you are so blinded by your own ego that you can’t fathom a different reality that the one you have had programmed into your brain by the media you consume.

IMO the design of the game is one of the things D4 gets absolutely correct.
Art team did so much better than the rest of the D4 team.

Or you never get it, because you realize the aspect doesn’t exist and your build suffers for it into endgame. Then you have a choice of either just quitting the game, or respecting.
do you know what “slightly” means? A universal nerf on everything (dmg, defense, exp, cd) means a nerf for all builds and all classes, which makes off-meta builds unplayable, decent builds unfun and sluggish, and only the absolute meta builds still have a chance of doing end game content. Mob density and mob scaling are not implemented.

The art, yes. The graphics, that is debatable. IMO the game is austere. It is visually unappealing.
currently the game is bad
- a collection game u can’t collect cuz of stash limitation
- full of buggy side quest
- no in game social aspect “LFG”
- you can’t build the build u want or the build u want is gimp compare to other spec
- aspects does not support most of the non meta build
- shallow gearing system
- shallow mapping(dungeon) system
- shallow seasonal mechanics(weak in art standard)
- shallow passives synergies
- shallow boss mechanic (one shot lazy mechanic)
- mass produced art design(not interesting enough - cash shop)
