see, you didn’t intend for this to be hilarious yet here we are and this is top quality unintentional comedy
its because the 86 was way too high so ppl compensate with 2.2
average between 8.6 and 2.2 should give you a proper idea.
No one cares dude you aren’t winning the crowd over with your charm
because you can have exactly the same gameplay loop in a game of DOTA/League of legends that takes 20-30 minutes as you can in 200 hours of Dyawn4
Agreed. While I don’t take any number too seriously, it is alarming that there is a huge disparity between paid reviewers and actual players.
A small disparity wouldn’t be as jarring; but a 6 point difference means there is something funky going on here (and not the good type of funk
)
Cope and seeth.
You still care, you’re replying to me <3
Yeah, I don’t love the level design either. The graphics utilize too many grey filters to tone down saturation. Some saturation is ok, we gave D3 crap because of the art style, not necessarily the saturation. Diablo 2 actually has a lot of saturation. Diablo 4 could use some contrast and bring back truly dark areas. Almost everything in Diablo 4 is too well lit with the exception of a few areas.
This was a disappointing followup to that wall of text.
2.2/10
Challenge:- post a few youtube videos from the passed week since season one launched, i bet i can show you the majority of that channels revenue comes from blizzard/activision and is biased as ((
Can you two like… get a private chat going? This game has this really cool feature where the devs encourage you to use a 3rd party app for chat (and grouping, and limited-trading) called Discord.
But remember - they don’t want you to use other 3rd party apps to enhance the gameplay!
Get out of here! No one asked you to butt into our private conversation on a very public forum!
2.2 out of 10,
Solid Diablo 4 rating
Because the reviewers think the game is bad. what even is this?
I rate it around 2.2, so…
And that is only for the graphics and combat. Everything else about the game absolutely stinks.
The most concise answer I can give OP:
Internet users are spiteful and reactionary and will go out of their way to make things appear worse than they actually are when they don’t get exactly what they want. Game isn’t a 2.2, but because it did a particular thing, nothing else about the game matters and they’ll continue pumping the aggregate full of 0s.
I mean, just look at the forums. It’s full of people who have no interest in the game getting better. They keep talking in circles about how terrible it is and disregarding/discrediting anyone who dares enjoy it.
Such is the way of things when you lack the brain space for critical thought.
You missed what I consider the main problem…
Terrible dungeons that are so badly designed that I first thought they were procedurally generated, and that fairly often force the player to spend ~60% of their time in the dungeon backtracking through empty rooms. And each of which climax with the most boring, forgettable non-entity bosses I’ve ever seen in any ARPG, ever.
And that’s your endgame.
Everything you do in this game is leading to that.
Procedurally generated can be fine. It definitely wasn’t well done in D4 however. But yes, the dungeon design is one of the major problems with the game, along with itemization and the skill system. Essentially the 3 most important parts of an aRPG are garbage in D4, and that is sad.
Because Blizzard tricked millions of people into paying AAA retail price to beta test their product. Non-existent end game, S1 barely added anything new and won’t roll over into eternal, Blizz absolutely gutted sorc 2 days before S1. There’s a ton of reasons. Game is bad after campaign.
Because they implemented the worst patch in the history of gaming, ruining an already shaky game
