Booted up Ps5 Pro. Logged in and turned on enhanced visuals only to be surprised the framerate drops to 30FPS. Has the feature actuallt launched yet? If no then why is it advertised on the PS store as so.

Please enlighten us how to enable the amazing looking mode in 4K HDR with 60 fps.
As I also enabled the Enhanced mode and it was also dropping framerates to 30 fps for me as well. 
The Enhanced mode also displays the old text, that it drops framerate to 30 fps for adding the amazing visuals.

All, isn’t it maybe already doing it’s Pro magic in the Performance Mode?
Not entirely sure, but it looks like it already has more details, but maybe I’m wrong.

What about the ray tracing mode though, no performance boost for that?
Is the performance mode same as ray tracing now then at 60fps?

Not 100% sure, but I think they enabled the PS5 Pro magic on Performance Mode, including ray tracing.
It looks and performs way better for me.

Tested it.
I think I’m 100% sure the RT mode is normal mode by default now. Making the RT option redundant. They need to remove it (and it drops to 30fps)
In fact I’m sure normal mode has all the RT bonuses and seems faster than 60fps!!

I came to that same conclusion as well, I’m happy with my PS5 Pro!

All games run great and the Pro works quietly, but with D4 I have coil whine that blows my ears away.
Edit: strange….most coil whine has gone.
same here, wondering where the upgrades are. without changing anything 60 fps mode looks same as it has for past 800+ hours.
The upgrades are all on normal mode. It’s 60fps with all the HDR effects and graphics improvements

I see no difference. There’s no official update in the patch notes that states the game has been updated for Pro. Other studios are pointing out what enhancements they’ve made for the Pro, I suspect Blizzard will do the same. Btw, the VRR update isn’t the Pro update.
Can we get a blue post or response about this?

Btw I don’t know what to tell you if you can’t see a difference. The normal mode is now identical to the HDR mode at over 60fps

When I enable that mode, it still runs at 30 fps. I don’t get it.

You’re right that option is 30fps. But the normal mode is at 60fps with all of the previous advanced mode on and silky smooth.
So you can stick to an even more beautiful 30 FPS one or the 60fps normal mode that looks as good as the advanced graphics mode as before
Yeah im not noticing the RT effects at all
I see no RT effects in the 60fps mode and I cannot see any difference between the PS5 Pro at 60 and the XSX at 60. The 30fps mode certainly has RT but it is not worth the loss in performance. I’m a little disappointed.

Don’t understand at all. I have an old PS5 I’m selling so I compared both. The new normal mode is identical to the old RT mode that I can see but at 60fps. Maybe that’s PSSR?
The normal mode performance is night and day. Absolutely no question
I tested the game both PS5 and PS5 PRO, and in normal mode there is zero difference in graphics. “Enchanced” visuals pointless both on PS5 and PS5 PRO because limited to 30 fps.
So there is no ps5 pro mode in D4 (yet)!!!
The only improvement, that the fan noise and coil whine is lower on PS5 PRO playing D4.
(I checked the visuals in Cerrigar town center.)

Yeah hard disagree. I literally have two TVs back to back and it’s a bit silly to say they’re the same
Every single game I’ve seen discussed online has had improvements due to PSSR. Yet somehow its just diablo IV that has none by PSSR??
Just look at the textures and the frame rate on normal. It’s absolutely off the scale. And it’s much faster.
Ah well. Good luck with it all of you can’t see anything.
This reminds me of a guy at work that was saying there is no visual difference between HD and 4k. Kept saying it till blue in the face. Blind as a bat.
Update: did more testing. The advanced graphics mode is way more detailed and is way over 30fps. Looks to be around 45 to 50 and is detailed the level of top graphics cards now. It does stutter sometimes though I give you that. May need a little more optimisation.
