What's with the slow download speed?

It’s in single digit KB/s right now. If I remember correctly, it was also like this for past patches at the initial and last part of the download, it sped up in the middle.

All the people that left from 1.1 and queuing up to download the patch for 1.1.1 and see if they can play sorc again.

I just started playing Barb 2 days ago and was about to see if I could kill Elias at 55 but now it’s taking so long to go back to the game lol.

Idk about you but the 2gb update took like 20 seconds.

Everything in this game is a time sink… even the patches lol.

Where’s the ‘exploit’ where you can go straight from pre patch to post patch character without the 2GB file and sub 1MBS tunnel?

idk mine was at 10mb/s throtled to 100 kb/s, click on the blue thing and just change limit from 1000 kb/s to narnia and seems to be ok now.

Blizzard Launcher → Open Settings → Downloads → Check Limit Network Bandwith for Latest Updates and Pre-release content and enter 999999999

I know how stupid that sounds but it worked for me.

Your download speed possibly throttles down because the patch is installing at the same time and it has to wait for your pc to move forward in the patching process.

Because it is fast only on US while on EU it is 1kb/s

i disabled limit long time ago, it is still 1kb/s

No you have to set a limit that’s the weird part.
Set the limit to 999999999, when i disable it my Download is under 1 MB/sec

He meant not to disable. ENABLE and set to 999999999. On my end it was disabled so naturally it sounded off to me at first but it worked nonetheless.
