Take more time, get better tempers, masterwork some stuff. It’s amazing how much even a few masterworks on items helps, I went from barely being able to take on a normal version to taking out all the tormented bosses after a few 4/12 masterworks.

DUDE!!! the boss fight is bugged you cant get hit by a single thing, eveythjng on that boss fight hits for over a 1million, the only saving grace is the bosses HP is also bugged so you can burn boss fast with mild level gear

There seems to be a scaling issue with one of the mobs that gets summoned similar to the Desecrator elite fiend in hordes. Dealing astronomically more damage than any other source in the encounter for zero reason.

I beat Lilith, Torment Duriel, Torment Grigiore, Torment Varshan, Torment Andariel. It’s not about temper, it’s bugged.

Everything about Tormented Beast is bugged. It dies super quick and only drops one mat.

2 I just killed him 4 times in a row literally 8 hours ago. So what are you doing that is causing this bug?
When did the bug start because I killed tormented beast 4 times, 8 hours ago and got several mats each time.
We need to change this to sorbillions or robillions now.
I killed him in solo many times. But when we went in party, we all dead.
I think this bugged happens because it used to be a dungeon, so every damage scales high insanely.
Today marks the day I killed him twice. The key is to kill him first and quick before he kills you lol
That guy is a PITA, our group wiped on him so many times in a row it’s not even funny. We wiped the floor with all the other bosses…
It’s been a few days since I killed him but did it four times in a row and each time was only one mat. Others on here have said the same thing so maybe/hopefully they fixed it.
I speculate the game does a gear check on bosses. If you don’t reach the required “stats” (whatever those might be) you will take a defensive hit. I went from getting one shot by Beast to annihilating him with no effort, and it barely took a few masterworks to make it happen. Fishy.

Just do him solo.
It’s really easy.
Or, go in with a sorc + rogue.
Hit chain lightning and have the rogue drop a totem, instant win.

I haven’t seen how it one shots at all, I kill it before it can do anything, it’s probably the easiest of the tormented bosses especially with the low hp pool.
In a group it’s another level of Uber. Hardest boss to beat. But I have a workaround for that 
Solo he falls over.
Beast in Ice is just glass cannon like Sorc. Except unlike sorc, it actually has the cannon haha
