I should note I shifted some skills away from Resource and Berserk support to Fortify since it gives you better survivability, damage, and synergizes with your Overpowers. While Overpower only has a 3% inherit base chance, you can guarantee it later. The focus is on huge hits stacking every multiplier with a Full Fury/Fortify Overpowered HoTA bomb.
Building for Defense bolsters your Damage and your survivability can be controlled as you CC enemies (Stun/Slow). Steel Grasp pulls them in all tightly for you and is one of the guranteed Berserk methods and guarantees Vulnerable Status. You will have 3 charges and it also adds it as a potential Stun.
You are stacking Barrier and Fortify also which along with DR will make you very very tanky. If you end up fat fingering an evade on a boss like Ashava, you can soak it with Barrier.
yep can see that, thanks for that. looks alot more fun then some ww build
Its either that or something more into brawling i think. Kick is just too appealing for me in melee classes, always love a good kick.
I think it will be Druid, only because they are fat and people discriminate against them. I think when you hit a druid, it will tickle them, and they will be unkillable. Then, his/her wolves will eat you.
lol on a serious note, the WB tree is actually very fat with protection and damage midigation while gaining dmg. You will see some Bears eating people for sure.
Kick build is fun but surprisingly lackluster even when you devote everything to Berserk/Kick/Fury Dump/Crit.
There is a rather niche build you can make that focus on Iron Maelstrom, Charge, Ground Stomp, Frenzy, and Flay primarily. You focus on Walking Arsenal and can get your IM cooldown down really really low so you can basically spam it. It is very very strong when you capitalize on procs.
At first glance, Iron Maelstrom at 60 seconds will scare people off. Take a look at the last skill that shaves off 1 sec when you deal direct damage when swapping. With high attack speed and Berserk up all the time, you are swapping constantly from your 2 Basics. Strategic Stomp, CDR, and Aspects, you can easily get IM down to about a 15 second CD on every pull and rotation. That is an Ultimate ability, every 15 seconds.
if you can’t accept you said something simply laughable, and it’s not me stating that, it’s the washington post and blizzard employees showing that for the ridiculous claim it is and proving how you are plainly wrong and making a laughing stock of yourself, you can always try and pretend you didn’t read that, sure. not that is going to change the facts. it’s simply more telling about you, and no surprise at all. btw, psst: nobody claimed it’s going to be perfectly balanced, endgame or anywhere else. simply stated (and it’s an incontrovertible fact, genius) that their job is doing that, and if you had the slightest idea of previous patches in their previous games (since you like using other games as a fitting example - thing i don’t, but let’s see if lowering the complexity, that gets easier to grasp for you), you’d know they will patch over and over, nerfing more than buffing all time, in a constant attempt to rebalance something. going to work? nobody ever claimed that, smart guy. but it’s fact they will. as it’s fact it’s nonsensical claiming a class is “stronger” than any other, go figure now.
I think a little bit of reddit spilled over into the forums
A character you like to play will be your strongest character, regardless of the potential of the class in relation to others. You’re more likely to put the work in when it doesn’t feel like work.
Can’t tell you how many times I’ve ground out a character that felt clunky but was S-tier. Even when I’ve got them to the apex of the build and had everything maxed out it still sucked to play because it wasn’t fun first and foremost. I always abandon those and go back to what I like. It’s a game and not a job for 99.99% of the people. Don’t make it a job when it’s just a game for you. That doesn’t mean be casual, it just means start with something fun, yet viable.
really? i must have missed this, so a stun and a daze can be applied quicker than 2 stuns theoretically
like in most arpgs and diablo games not a best class but what a class can and or do better at (clearing areas, boss kill, etc)
Fully decked out in the best gear, Barbarian will be the strongest class.
Barbarian,
He carries four weapon, which should be each around 50 kilo weight total, plus his Armor, which should be around 50-80 kilo on top of it…
And he still has the strength to do powerjumps 8 meter high, 20 meter in length.
Barbarian is definitely the strongest class in diablo 4.
Barberian for sure. He can cut himself, just imagine what he gonna do to others ?
I really like the itemization/skill synergy on this particular class. As a DH/Crusader main on D3, I am picking Druid over Rogue.
For sure Rogue will look at free holes to escape on hard dungeons. It’s just about utility, I’ll play with Rogue like a mouse/cat. Wild tiger Barbarian, grrr
As per the article, Blizzard Developer Reveals Why Diablo 4 Druid Is One of the Strongest Classes, “Piepiora made the surprising announcement that the Druid is regarded as one of the strongest classes available in Diablo 4 with internal testers at the company.” Additionally, “When responding to why the Druid felt underpowered during the beta testing, Piepiora revealed that the main reason is that players were not able to experience the full potential of the class due to level restrictions and part of the skill tree being locked.” So, the answer is Druid and it is straight from the horses mouth.
True. I saw that video earlier as well. They did say that the druid was one of the strongest classes.
What a meaningless post…
Noone has played the game yet. How should anyone know?
Also are people still not done min/maxxing?
Can you try to actually just enjoy a game for once? i can guarantee you that most people actually don’t give a rat’s tail if you could down a boss 7.3 seconds faster than everybody else.
