Other than the few weird ones that complain about the group activity that nobody forces them to do, it’s like whining about a menu item that doesn’t interest you at a restaurant. I mean, com’on.
Temper reset scroll, group finder, new zone, new class, new paragon system, new levelling system…
What will we complain about?
Sure, we spend so much time in the Infernal Hordes that we are lacking boss summoning materials. But that should be easily fixed: After each wave, add some drop chances of boss materials.
Then what?
I’ve been critical of D4 thus far, but things are looking in the right direction. Maybe not enough to play a full season, but maybe a solid 2 months out of the 3.
actually your analogy isn’t correct :
If you go to a steak restaurant and they suddenly changed the menu to beyond beef you can get your bottom dollar people would complain.
It’s the same thing here :
All content in the D4 franchise can be solo killed, but now suddenly they decided to force grouping and by the sounds of things it’s only puzzle solving, boss mechanics and not actually needing huge dps to kill.
By your analogy, it’s actually going to a restaurant and ordering a serving for two people for you to eat by yourself only for the waiter to refuse to bring the food unless you invite someone to eat it with you.
The least it could be done is to allow mercs to count as the AI player 2 for this game mode as it does not affect in any way those who actively want to group up.
I’ll say it again that I do not play videogames to interact with people but to get away from them, and completely locking a new game feature that’s supposed to be one of the selling points of the expansion for group only is absolutely ridiculous imho
made a cup of coffee used the last of my creamer was making my way back to my pc so i could savor my last good cup of joe while i watched some old rooster teeth videos like a clumsy fool i am i spilt the entire cup now i have to drink my coffee straight black til next payday
Eh… Please read youtube comments about D4 from 2020 onwards. Literally everyone was expecting a badass Diablo game. A game with depth and difficulty. Not this piece of crap we received. I could keep complaining, but it just isn’t the game I was hoping for.
slipper slope bro, stuff that matters to you is okay but not okay otherwise?
I mean I understand excessive complaining can be tiring, just don’t drop into those threads.
They may end up having systems changes that are BETTER than where we are now.
And could be worse, if you like the current system, they say so, but the complaint itself is almost always valid to the player issuing it - outside of clear trolling.
If they do not answer one of Iggies questions at the next campfire chat I will whine.
Just the Karen’s who hate D4 but still troll on the forum. You already know who they are.
They are definitely making some nice progress but we still have many lagging issues:
The 10 list in no particular order
1] Party system bugged. Many errors. Must log in and out constantly.
2] No armory
3] World Tier 1 and 3 are useless
4] Duping exploits nearly every season
5] Bricking is still going to happen even with scroll. Real fix is to change manuals. Tempering 2.0 - PC General Discussion - Diablo IV Forums (blizzard.com)
6] Pit rendered useless by Hordes Tier 7+
7] Not enough character slots and inventory space (earning the 1 extra tab per season until 15 or so like D3 would help here)
8] Large imbalances between characters in power and within the same characters on different skills in power (IE poor barbs)
9] Much of the game lacks any difficulty or risk
10] Lackluster campaign with no meaningful choices
Really? Curious to understand what changes in the expansion made you think “Oh this looks better” So far apart from the Raid the game looks to be pretty much on par with what we have. I guess not much has been revealed yet.
If they provide a lot more forced group content then I think a rebalancing of the classes to allow for more part oritented play is in order. Personally if the expac has a lot more group content then I probably won’t be buying it.
If it is just one Raid with no major impact on me, sure I can live with that. If I am gated behind this weekly wall to get the best gear then I will just no longer play, I played WoW for a long long time and I have had my fill of Raid logging lol.
Can’t you just go to a gas station and help yourself to some of the single serve creamers? that’s what I do… unless, they charge you for things like that.
I mean, right before the VoH announcement there was a giant thread with people saying Blizzard isn’t doing anything innovative and now I’m going from thread to thread with some of those same people (don’t recall you being one of the people saying they don’t innovate) essentially saying the opposite, that they shouldn’t be changing the formula. They really can’t win no matter what they do.
