What a joke. Shame on you Blizzard

Ummm… error 37 ring any bells?

Nope. Should that be common knowledge?

Google it… it is history repeating itself (and a WELL known meme, but it was 10 yrs ago)

Disconnects in D3? That sounds like a you issue. Gib PC specs, are you on dial up?

Wait until you get to the part where you can’t play with your friends.

D4 best D.

this is an idiotic comment. they should still let you in the game to test it, there is no way this was intended, and gauging server load is absolutely something that should be done well before a beta test.

Actually you have it backwards. Stop butchering the language!

en·ti·tle·ment noun
noun: entitlement; plural noun: entitlements

  1. the fact of having a right to something.

By saying people who haven’t paid are entitled means they are owed by right. Jeez I swear these days it’s like people are too busy to look a little deeper to understand the world around them.

I am now 11.5 hrs into this beta I paid for early access and I have yet to be able to join a game or get past the authentication screen now. This is just sad.

2 hours? lucky you. 4 hour and counting while staring at the queue login screen.

lol

0 Issues on the release of multiplayer for Last Epoch and they have less than 50 people working on that game. So try again

You might want to rethink that comment.
Last Epoch had tons of issues with their backend servers, when they opened up for Multiplayer. The first day was pretty much unplayable, unless you were lucky to get in just as they opened up (and hopefully wouldn’t get disconnected). So many streamers decided to “call it quits” because of that. They simply weren’t able to log in at all.

The next day was a little better - but not by much.

All that, because of an error on their backend, that (by mistake) threw up a queue message, despite there never being a queue to get in (according to the developers). They finally found the issue, 48-ish hours later and it ran pretty smooth from that point - at least in terms of connectivity.
…but they for sure had issues when they opened up for multiplayer - they absolutely did. Kinda gave “Error 37”-vibes all over again, but for a different game… lol

It’s all things that are to be expected - if you’re not expecting that; they you are blissfully naïve at this point.

Is this the first launch of a game you’ve ever participated in?

I’m not wanting to speak badly about your experience… I just got booted too and it is frustrating. However…you said,

If I knew this would happen…

This happens at every single AAA launch - every one of them, and this is mild compared to many other launches. It is sad that is kind of the ‘thing’, but it is also beta. If you didn’t know this was going to happen, you’ve either lived under a rock or this is the first game you’ve purchased.

True… It definitely happens for every BLIZZARD launch anyway…
[ERROR 37]

Simulated lag can only do so much… and that straight up doesn’t account for people with a memory reader and packet sniffer open sending false packets to the server.

Go ahead and complain, honestly I’d rather they did things right. I don’t wanna see dupes or bots here.

Well that’s just lovely for you. Like most other people here, the only things I’m experiencing are stupidly long queue times, error codes, insane lag (3k+++), and my character telling me she needs to find shelter before she freezes while everything around her is just stuck.

And then I get disconnected and get to experience that all over again.

Did we pay extra? I just bought the normal game, which I’d have to do to play on release anyway.

This is pretty bad. The games that came before this one have had the same issue so they should have anticipated this. I get the people saying that this is a beta and should be treated that way but It’s paid early access and there are rewards for it and some of us don’t have infinite time to spend relogging in. This is pretty disappointing and the fact that people are able to say things like “It’s a beta so you should expect it to be trash.” with a straight face should tell blizzard what its crowd has come to expect of them. I agree with original poster…Shame.

Then you were blessed. I found nothing but bugs there. Reported all where I needed to. Same things as I’ve discovered here, yet, here it’s been to a lesser extent in some.
