Sorcerer half enchantments dosent work , firewall , meteor

Predetermine spell cast location.

On console or controller implement a way like a grayed out circle for sorcerer that shows where a particular spell like teleport, inferno aka “Wiggle Worm” or even meteor would land. For some builds placement of spells is very crucial and would be a desirable change or feature.

Paragon Legendary Node (Burning Instinct) does not seem to activate when taken. Despite multiple attempts to refund and unlock the node, bonus granted always remains at +0% (currently 331 Int) and burning damage applied through Fire Bolt enchantment has not increased. I presume its a bug, but if anyone has been able to make it work, I would appreciate guidance. Thanks.

The ice blades Enchantment, every 40 seconds spend i spawn an ice blade, does not work with frost nova aspect of 2 charges, it coutns as one second ratter than 23 that is its CD. If i dont use this aspect works fine, but is a huge loss.

While doing the nightmare dungeons on world tier 3 on pc reaching the end of the dungeon does not give me the glyph rewards and has been like that for every nightmare dungeon I’ve been in.

Please buff all damage and health for sorc including ice shards. For reference, I am a lvl 77 ice shard sorc and I can clear nightmare dungeons up solo tier 51 with some difficultly. Now don’t get me wrong the game is great but there are some major issues for sorc, some of which I have mentioned below. I hope that devs don’t take this criticism the wrong way, as this is meant to be constructive.

I have played solo and with my friend who is a druid. We are about the same level and he almost or does one shot all the enemies when we run nightmare dungeons. It is not due to me being not optimized because I have tried the best I could find on my own and the builds online for solo sorc tier 100 dunegons. I do less damage and I get one shot by all mobs even stacking high damage reduction. My druid friend easily takes hardly any damage compared to me even when I have cc’d enemies and have a barrier up.

Sorc is way to squishy even with the barriers. I die in one tap through barriers to almost everything that i am not able apply crowd control in nightmare dungeons. I still get one tapped even if I run several aspects for damage reduction, barrier gen affixes, damage reduction vs affixes, and I went for max health on paragon boards and armor. (I am not sure how much this is due to the elemental resistances not doing anything at all and if fixing it would make sorcs more tanky. Even so i still die to one swipe of the big tusk chargers and a couple hits from arrow from ghosts.)

I do like 80%-90% less damage to enemies that i am not able to crowd control due to unstoppable enemies and how sorc paragons boards and glyphs work. I’m trying to level my other glyphs that don’t rely on cc but i think there are only two. There is a major issue with applying vulnerability if you do not run ice builds or use frost nova, which pigeon holes you into uses those builds.

Tbh the other main issue is the viability of other builds in endgame. The fire builds are pretty trash, shock builds are barely playable, blizzard ice spike build looks decent but i don’t think it is able to push high nightmare dungeons, and conjuration skills are completely useless. PS I am going to try out a meteor build with some hydras (trying the nova enhancement) and see if I can get it to work in at least tier 40 nightmare dungeons. I do not have high hopes.

It is mandatory to run all 4 defensive skills due to how quickly I die or that is mandatory to even due high damage, so that leave only 2 skill slots to play with. Don’t even get me started on the enchantments. There is only one slot to chose since the firebolt enchantment has to be on since it provides the most synergy with the paragon boards, glyphs, damage, and damage reduction affixes/nodes.

All the unique’s are practically useless because the builds for them are bad besides raiment which I still have not gotten by the way. I literally have all the rest and gotten multiple copies of other uniques. Raiment is essential mandatory for any sorc build. Since there are no grouping abilities on sorc.

Hello, everythime i switch gears around in my inventory or storage my mount and off-hand skin switch by itself, i can be moving items from inventory to storage and it will just automatically remove my skin off my mount and off-hand weapon, it doesnt matter what i do it removes the skins, which it isnt supposed to do that, i havent tried on other characters but am playing sorcerer and it keeps happening everytime.

Can you please have the designers look at the build mediocrity in sorceress at the moment and the possibility of moving the enchantment slots back to 3 instead of 2?

It’s such a small change that was already in the game during Beta and would improve the game play tremendously.

I would like to discuss a Glyph called “Reinforced.” What personally intrigues me and I believe many Diablo 4 players is the limited options for survival in high-level Nightmare Dungeons, unless you stack a significant amount of armor. Currently, Barrier is not a viable survival option in Nightmare Dungeons above level 60+. One solution would be to swap the bonus and additional bonus on this Glyph called “Reinforced” in order to have damage reduction from Barrier, calculated as a percentage. Technically, I don’t think it would require a major effort,it just needs to be tested to ensure it doesn’t disrupt the game balance.

Please take this idea into consideration, and hopefully, we can make the game more balanced.

My Sorcerer build is at level 85 currently and I simply cannot progress further than NM tier 33. Assuming Blizzard tried to make the Sorcerer class a resistance based (armor value is almost nothing) ranged class, but resistances do absolutely nothing. I can get all the way through NM tier 33 dungeons only to lose all 4 revives to a cold enchanted spider, or cold enchanted snake. Cold Resist potions don’t do anything to assist the issue. The Sorcerer class either needs a load more resistance/armor or needs to do a whole lot more damage. I’m going to stop playing until this is fixed, it’s just too frustrating.

Why are sorcs so weak in endgame? Huge upset… once you pass level 80 and still only soloing t40 dungeons it slows you down. Tried blizzard sorc build, flame wall build, arc lash build… half the skills from paragon dont even prox.

Its like someone came in and deleted half the sorc stats right before the game launched and left her all sloppy and worn out.

Ill be taking a break i guess, since there isnt any more progression. Hopefully this gets updated soon.

Post update update:

After reading the patch notes, I have decided to stop playing and uninstall Diablo 4. Ill read the future patch notes and keep my fingers crossed, but my sorcerer is my only character. It took from release until now for me to make level 81 on one character, work and family do not always permit gaming. Why does blizzard hate sorceress’ so much? They were already the weakest class, now they are completely useless. Knowing now that i wasted the past month+ on something i can not use is infuriating. I want a refund for the game.

This game no longer offers satisfaction, it no longer rewards hard work, and it no longer relieves stress.

Suggestion for teleport and crackling energy interaction.

Ceaseless conduit paragon board should have a bonus to teleport that allows crackling energy. Lore wise, you’re a moving lightning bolt anyways so it makes sense to be able to absorb crackling energy in your path. Maybe even a vacuum effect upon landing.

Terrible. I don’t know what happened with this latest update, but my sorcerer is nearly unplayable. I can’t handle dungeons on my own. I may not be the greatest player, but I’ve been doing this a long time and know a thing or two. After spending MINUTES trying to take down a boss, several times I’ve received no loot other than some gold. No gear!!!

Looking for guidance about the Electrocute glyph, I can’t seem to find a paragon node where it’s effect (…gain XX% bonus to their Lightning damage…).

I’m using a Lightning/Crackling energy build with teleport (Raiment of the Infinite) where it pulls close enemies in and stuns them. Crackling Energy damage increase and + Damage to Stun pretty much kills almost anything I teleport to.
