i’m currently p242 and at this disgustingly low xp gain i should hit 300 in 6 months…how the hell some people get to 300 so fast…must mention i am barb

Ooof thats really low. If you were spiritborn you would have gotten 10x that amount.
Run pits in groups - at that level of paragon you should get a level every 1-2 hours, but just remember at about lvl 270 you only half way there!

Ohh P242 means you have a good 10% done on your way to lvl 300 
I just wrote it into anothe thread: I just did 3 lvl 70 pits and then measured the gain of my XP bar using a 50 pikometer microscope. Just to motivate you a bit.

Your mental & physical life wont be the same after it. But at least you reached 300. Thats all that counts.

Why in a game that almost everyone plays solo, the answer to everything is “play in a group”? So another thing that is four times as hard to acquire if you don’t run rotas, unbelievable.

There are clans and party finders. Put in some effort?
You are still having fun playing the game just keep doing it and you will get your Paragon points, if not on Seasonal, it will be once your build moves to Eternal. Don’t spend days mindlessly repeating the same activity just to have this 300 attached to your character. This will just make you hate the game.

Farming pit 110s in 4 man group running one every 2-3 minutes.
For me, I run solo and play a necro so I’m content to get to 275 if I am lucky this season, 236 right now, long ways to get to that point. I have had good success running pit 70s and infernal hordes to a lesser extent and I get a paragon level about every hour if I focus on it. That will get much longer post 250 based on exp curve.
Enjoy the journey and get as high as you can with barb or hop on some runs with spiritborns that are farming high level pits.

The most effective way is to do pit 65s super fast. Use xp pots and auras. Stay focused. Town is lava. All that stuff. 300 isnt supposed to be reached. Its aspirational content. I prob wont get it and im blasting pit 140 atm.

I’m spiritborn. Retired with all the time in the world. Been playing since day one, and still only around 250. It isn’t just a grind, it’s a grindy grindy, that smells grindy.

So true. I won’t likely see pit 100, can’t even imagine what 140 looks like. At least we got an extra xp buff for the holiday and will probably get it again for Xmas.

I have to admit you’re inefficient. I’m 257 and still comfortably farm 1 level per hour if that was my purpose.
However I can’t deny the fact that it’s quite grindy and game favors group play.

over and over and over and over … guess what and over againe ^^
That is not much if you play 5 hours a day.
You need to run higher pits somehow.
Also always a potion + obal (the season potion) and all 3 kinds of Incense (Type 1 to 3)
Don’t forget, there was an exploit. Expect some of the paragon 300 players to be banned soon.
