That seems low. I’ve leveled up about 5 levels since the mother blessing event started and I don’t think I’ve put in more than 10 hours into it. Pit and hordes is where the leveling happens fastest.
I believe you have an efficiency problem if your leveling for speed. In the 240s leveling is faster then that.
Play in groups, incents, elixers and obals.
There are already ppl lv 300. Ive put maybe 100 hours this season in sc and im just below 260 but ive also been super inefficient from doing other activities that dont yield as much xp.
I’m at 272 and have stopped worrying about hitting 300 and am now just focusing on building alts that can max out all of their glyphs to 100. Same type of gameplay loop after the leveling process but a little more challenging.
If you’re goal is xp farming you need to live in the pits and really only deviate to farm obducate and opal elixirs.

So what you want to do is run the highest pit at the fastest time. About 2/3 of the pit xp comes from the Boss kill and that xp is not affected by any xp buffs. Like for me, I am running pit 65 in 70 to 80 seconds (I got a 59 second run in this morning!) avarage. That nets me a little over 11 mill xp. I do use pot, incense and Opal as that along with the mothers blessing buff gives me 78% buff to the mob xp… just not boss. And I am 9 levels away from 300 so I’m kind of running on fumes here and procrastinating at every turn lol.
Then it’s all just about time and effort. Or as others would say getting real sweaty and no lifing it.
Ok, back to the grind.
Edit: I do this solo cuz I am dumb like that but if you group up, you can do very fast pits.

I agree with you. If you play solo and don’t have much time, it’s a long way to reach P300.
I always spend about 2 hours everyday just grinding Infernal Hordes and using Opals + Elixirs, the leveling process will be a bit faster and now I’m P258…still far from P300 tho… 
are you AFKing in town for 5 hours per day? 
Its still fairly fast at level 270, sure I level up maybe once or twice per day now, but im definitely not just grinding XP and I don’t have that much time to play.
My suggestion is do 8-10 wave hordes in T4 with opel + elixir + incense, im doing this as a summoner necro. My move speed is to low to do efficient pits plus horde is far far more rewarding loot wise.
My current evening cycle is:

Do a few Realmwalkers for Opels (summing mats + infernal horde opels specifically)

During downtime between realm walkers I do 5 favor whispers (tormented bosses, world bosses, undercity etc)

Once I have farmed up about 8+ opels I switch to NMD + 5 favor whispers when they spring up.

I do NMD for masterworking mats + infernal horde keys. I continue NMD until I hit an XP well.

With my XP well I switch to infernal hordes 8-10 wave ones, I make sure I have 100% uptime with my elixirs/opel/incense here, this is my XP/masterworking mats/GA grind.

This process will offer a huge amount of boss summoning mats, so every few days I grind them all only caring about keeping an opel up as this offers more infernal horde keys and boss mats. I always leave myself a few boss summoning mats to ensure I can do the 5 favor whispers when the pop up.

I dont waste time doing realmwalkers for another 15% buff anymore. I just run run run pits untill i fall asleep which happened very early today 
My big “weakness” is that the forum is distracting me too much. So its all your fault. (just joking) 
As a SB overpower perfect gear i just need paragon 250 for close pit 150 so i don’t care wasting my life getting 300 better to invest on diablo.trade and get good gear and huge gain on stats
What pit are you running now?
pits offer no loot or mat farm potential and realm walker offers both the opel for 15% xp and more importantly extra infernal horde keys through the first opel option. This is really the main reason to farm the realm walker, synergising loot, mats and XP.
Furthermore for those of us who didn’t roll spiritborn we can’t speed run pit100’s through pit 150’s…my best pit ever was a pit 95 on my fully decked out summoner.

xp from incents doesn’t stack…it’s right there in description of incent
If you are just going for paragon you dont need to speed run pit 100. The xp difference is not so huge. The best thing is to do whatever pit is fastest for you like pit 70 or even pit 65 is still good if you can do those in like 2mins or less. If you cant then the reach will be tougher for you but its still best to farm whatever pit is fastest… within reason. I’m not saying speed run pit 10.

But its significant if you are running hundereds of pits.
Its going to take you into 1000’s of pits either way. Yeah, you are right that it does make a difference. But its still best to run the fastest ones you can within reason and you can only do what you can do. If its too much then just dont do it. Not really worth it imo.
