so dont use them. simple
It really does… and no @subrias it wouldn’t require an AddOn. it would require the Diablo team to add a quality of life feature

Hello, I would like an implement in the game, where you can see the damage, to try different builds, and see what damage each thing does, so we could build custom things and not be copying so much
Would be an unnatural advantage only if you’re a tryhard and/or don’t understand the meaning of addons. I wouldn’t play WoW without addons, it just let me make the game more personal and adds helpful features, no one stops you in using addons, yelling that addons are the devil’s work will just make people like you sound funny.
THEY WANT TO WASTE YOUR TIME BECAUSE THEY GET TO TELL SHAREHOLDERS.
anything outside of this concept they will not care.
I have played thousands of hours of both mentioned games and know quite well the difference between open allowed lua scripts vs. A game with randomized maps.
You cannot compare Diablo games to WoW because of the dynamic maps.
Being able to see a full dungeon layout IS cheating and blizz is banning for using it as we speak.
Being able to see everyone and everything in the PvP zone is immensely unfair and should have no part in D4.
Pretty sure you beat me to it.
You definitively cannot beat that mate. World of Warcraft: Classic WOTLK | Facebook
+1 with the dps meter! there no way to test if a spell or build or items or unique etc its viable or a real upgrade.
absolute solid no on addons. addons are a plague on gaming and should be banned from any and all games.
addons are just hacks and should be treated as such.
I agree. One of the worst things Blizzard ever did with that game was allow addons that let you cheese the raid. Bells and whistles going off telling you to dodge, another telling you to get in the shield etc. Devs had to design raids with this in mind which meant everyone had to get the addons in order to compete. Forget that noise.
In my opinion, this is a great idea.
Blizzard could always restrict the API to UI elements and non-gameplay features. The API should not give access to boss timers and abilities, which could result in Weakaura-like add-ons.
The mods could also facilitate knowledge transfer instead of having to rely on so many third-party websites such as “mobalytics”, “diablotrade.gg”, “diablo.trade”, and “d4armory” just to name a few.
