or is my 3060ti für high texture to low? i mean that card isnt that old.
problem. after 1h hour the game begins to lag. FPS on 3440x1440 is about 80fps.
when i switch texture quality to medium and then back to high it runs again perfect for an hour.
I’m experiencing this as well using a RTX 4090 fe, 13900k and 32gb ddr5 7200mhz ram so pretty high end. good to know I can sort the problem by changing texture setting instead of restarting the game.
Hopefully they fix this, maybe they can add it as paid extra ha.
I have a problem I assume is related: at vendors, character creation and armory my GPU temp rises 25°C, CPU and GPU load stay at subpar 50% though. no idea how high temps would rise, usually get out before temps reach 80°C. badly optimized for sure
It’s definitely a UI problem. Also when you TP into town, you can see the usage spike up and stay. Even if you open your inventory, my GPU wattage shoots up about 60watts.
What I’ve been doing to reset the leak is start on High texture (starts at around 65% memory for me) and as it slowly creeps up to 100%, change to medium. You can even do this the opposite way - if it’s 95%+ on medium, change to high and it will drop back down.
Again, doesn’t really raise out in the world, dungeons etc. But in town/vendors it’s a nightmare.
imo thats happens when you switch maps.
and my game just crashed and froze my computer.
i was at Caldeum and ported to the town. FPS went from 90 to 15. then everything froze. Chrome, Windows and then Diablo 4 crashed even without a crash window.
