Yes because immortal offers pay to win and there are whales that spend 1000s, 10000s, 100000s. Let me know when D4 cost that much or they add powerful gems you can only get in the cash shop.
I did find a quote saying they are scrapping them, but also found an interview that happened this year where Joe said they might try and bring them back so if that’s the case, better late then never.
