-Level Scaling is awful.
-Itemization is not good, too many weird and unnecessarily confusing affixes (instead of just having something like +5 to minimum damage we get +60% to near).
-Too many legendary drops makes getting legendaries kinda boring.
-Social aspects are almost non-existent probably because the game was clearly designed for console.
-Crafting is weak sauce.
-Char perspective way too zoomed in.
-RPG elements are lacking.
-UI is terrible.
-World is boring and nothing feels unique, everything feels the same because of boring level scaling.
-Games is designed like an MMO without the multiplayer MMO aspects making this a bad MMO along with being a bad ARPG.
-Diablo 2 had many unique ways to fight such as funnelling enemies down tight corridors, hacking your way through hoards of skeletons to reach the necromancer. This is all gone in favour of âlevel scalingâ and âbalanceâ.
-Transmog is stupid. Finding gear that just looks cool naturally a more fun system. My char looked the exact same at level 25 as he did at level 50.
-No variety of potions anymore, what happened to utility and restoration potions?
-Aspect system is terrible. It makes collecting legendaries boring since you already have all the aspects you want unlocked.
-Item level is a dumb system.
-Side quests are a massive waste of time.
-Gem system is terrible, what happened to unique gems and runes?
-Only 6 ability slots?
-Every dungeon feels the same because of level scaling.
-Progression is non-existent since whole game is open from the start meaning that the game feels like a waste of time to play.
-World Tiers are a brain dead design considering you are obviously meant to play World Tier 3/4 once you hit the appropriate levels. The only exception is World Tier 2 which is meant for experienced gamers but you are not compensated enough for the extra difficulty meaning any experienced gamer will elect to go for World Tier 1. Makes no sense.
-Upgrading weapons/armor at a blacksmith is unnecessary and adds no enjoyment to the game.
-Renown farm is terrible and only in the game to try and make level scaling make sense when in reality its a trash can system.
-Nothing interesting ever seems to drop, what happened to set gear and OP uniques? Probably didnât want them at lower levels because would mess with brain dead level scaling.
-Why are mobs no longer bunched into creature types like demon/undead? Would be cool to have specific gear or abilities you could specialize into to farm a specific mob type.
-Resists are useless. Another solid RPG mechanic stripped from the game.
-No puzzles or anything to break up the action.
-Characters can feel under powered and enemies soak damage like sponges (or the opposite) depending on your class/build because of brain dead level scaling.
-Canât rerun the campaign on different difficulties and am forced to farm generic content instead.
