I’m not an elite or super skilled gamer by any means. But at some point it gets ridiculous.
this will not happen. they need to take a break from making seasons. that isn’t going to happen. I mean this content is what, a year old? and it’s power-crept so bad it’s lols.
this is just “the game” I guess.
That’s why, revisit of leveling and not being driven into “double or nothing” casino all the time is a nice change for a change
(As long as they figure it out and decently deliver)
The long-term benefit would also be no more need to add more “treadmill activities” (or at least not to the point that right now feels needed) to keep people “busy” also

No, that is not acceptable. Look at other successful Arpg’s. None of them do this silly seasonal content and then scrap it and start over again bs. It’s counter-productive when your game has the depth of a kiddy pool. They desperately need content. Doing a bunch of work just to throw it all away and start back at square 1 is not how to make a full game.
I mean, I personally find the game pretty easy but I also know most people arent really good at games and thats Blizz target market.
all people can do is ask/discuss for them to go back and update the old(er). I doubt it will get anywhere, or at least until the devs themselves realize what their seasons are doing to the “core” game.
PoE does this with their leagues.
And I was explaining to the OP why the game is the way it is: same reason.

I honestly think they forgot about the “core” game, unless something would break eternal realm(what I consider to be core). I have not touched eternal since…umm yeah, S0. I go there to delete a seasonal character etc etc move some gear around…
Well there’s also the irony of not being able to gear-up properly lol
I mean tried to level up a char and see how it feels/goes in the PTR. Guess what my char was lvl33 and had a lvl18 gear (at best) lol
So liked it or not, the “core” game is still there, by trying so hard to skip and zip past it, it makes it stand out that much more
I mean can’t screw things better even if they tried to tbh 
I honestly feel that the “core” game is going to be “free-to-play” which I think it is, if you use a console as a platform to play D4.

Don’t think that the two need to correlate though… In fact this should probably be more of a motive to slow-down the overall game progress rather than speeding it up overall

straight up, the last two times I looked at eternal were
-after they gutted the characters for S1 (for me eternal was dead)
-after “loot reborn” which made all my previous characters (gear etc) obsolete.
in my opinion, they know there are people like me, that will just delete all that work and time and in the long run, solve storage space/character slot issues. now, I could buy another game(D4), but I am not willing to do that, just yet. i’ve dumped quite a bit into D4.
also, didn’t Microsoft acquire Blizz?
This whole game is a giant hamster wheel. When the hamsters start to become aware of it, they give yiou a different looking wheel.

It starts with a solid base that never changes,things can be added and balanced from there. These Dev’s are all over the place,nerfing buffing changing.
Every thing they add to the game changes the balance and they keep having to start all over. If you had a solid base i think there would be fewer problems,they are lost.

Troll, shut the ef up, kindly. You have the option to pick up as much of the loot as you choose to. Do not pretend you ask for anything else that to make the game worse for the rest out of a desire to stroke your epeen.

Well first due to RNG you need massive amounts of loot to drop to actually have a chance for a 2-3 ga item you can use. I don’t think a lot of loot is an issue and most people need the mats. I guess if they really wanted to cater to complainers like you they could add a blacksmith in the boss room for breaking stuff down but a town portal is pretty fast…
