I’m pretty sure if I install D1 & log in, my Warrior will be called Warrior, no trace of Aidan.
So in fact, I’d be playing an unnamed Warrior, just as Gamma indicated. 
“Never played [named character]” being true… “That’s untrue” then becomes false. QED.
