Thoughts for the next class

Just had this thought for the next class we could get, what do you all think about it?

How crazy would it be if Tyreal comes back at the end of the expansion’s story, and the next character we play as is Tyreal’s son/daughter? So maybe this character could be called a half-angel or half-fallen angel.

Or maybe, since we are likely going to fight angels here soon, maybe the final character would be something akin to Tyreal, that willingly gives up their wings to become mortals. Like they think that what the angels are doing is wrong, and choose to give up their wings to fight with the mortals. Not sure if “fallen angel” is the right term for them, but that’s the best I can think of for now.

slime.
it has resistance to physical, ice, and poison attacks but is weak to fire and lightning. although weak in attack, it can split and divide itself, as well as bind opponents in place, allowing other elite monsters nearby to finish them off. slimes also have the ability to regenerate health over time. :melting_face:

paladin wouldnt make sense honestly. after the reveal of the new mythic helm “damage vs angels and demons”, we now know we will be fighting angels at some point. a paladin wouldnt fit the story or narrative of fighting against angels.

Fallen Paladins disillusioned with the Cathedral of Light will make sense given the current situation of Sanctuary.

Not sure, Diablo team seems to like to surprise us with unexpected class, lol.
I’m pretty sure the next class after the jungle warrior will be unexpected too.
But certainly it will fit the expansion theme that will come with. So we can say it will not be a jungle related class, I guess maybe some desert or water related class…

The original people of sanctuary were, but after so many generations idk if they can still be considered half angel and half demon. Technically everyone would still be, but a 3/4 angel wouldn’t sound great

Fallen angel is definitely an unexpected class

The next class would depend on which region the next expansion will bring. If the next expansion includes Westmarch, a paladin like class would be the next desirable and logical addition.

If the next expansion is the north western part of map, Mt. Arreat and the surrounding areas, it’s kind of dealers choice at that point as there are both frozen and hot areas there.

Personally, I’m still hoping for a van helsing whip and crossbow wielding class but that is just me.

Ok next expansion will be set in the Amazon’s homeland.

Wonder Woman class mainlands a sword offhands a whip has an invisible mount and terrible dialogue.
