Yeah normally they pull from other games where they see a good idea and polish that idea to make it better and more casual friendly. They didn’t do that here. They only pulled from Diablo 3. A game that had been dead for ages.
We were promised 30-40 hours of campaign play, and got 10 hours or less. After the campaign, the game is just stale and grindy for the sake of being grindy. If the campaign lead on to cool and fantastic features, I would be happy.
- Nightmares and empty and feel pointless for that sacred item at the end. No mob density, not enough elites.
- Hell tides are fun, but again with everything so spaced out and other players killing stuff make them a slog.
- World Tree could be interesting but have the same problem as hell tides but for worse loot.
- Legion Events are neat. No real knock there.
- World Boss is a terrible loot pinata that take too long to spawn.
And that is the end game in D4, basically nothing worth going to. So what do we have left? That campaign for $100.00 USD.
That’s cool, you have a different opinion, is yours more valid somehow, or?
Major games were $50-60 back in the 90s. Why would you expect prices to go down 30 years later? Im surprised base games arent $100 these days lol
this is the kind of people that I will never understand. like, have you ever played and sport? read a book? in every situation in life you do the exact same and from start to the end, BUT if you don’t take the time to PLAY the game or READ the book you can only state that a book is bad just because you read the prologue and pretend you know the whole story.
Here is my only real problem:
I was in Act 2, happily doing all the sidequests and I hit 50. Then I found out that mosts in WT2 do not pass 50. You have to advance to WT3, so that meant I had to zoom through the story to get to WT3 so that monster level made sense to my level. This pretty much sucks, as you can imagine. Cuz I was having fun, then I wasn’t. Now that I’m done with the story and sidequests I’m good again; but the fact that WT2 never passes level 50 is an odd decision.
In D3, once you got a hellfire ring, you could get to level 50 or whatever the cap was before Act 1 ended on the right difficulty setting.
HAHAHAHA!..HAHAHA!
for me, the game started at lvl 70 when i did capstone dungeon t4 solo in HC. after that i finaly reach the proper grind and increments i was looking for.
around 70 is when the game got really boring for me
