Repeating items in multiple +1 versions is an odd idea*.
Every item should only exist as an item during lvling with a single specific “ilvl”, and as a max-lvled version (with a way to upgrade the low lvl one to max lvl).

It can work in games where items is just a side-thing, like having +1 rings in Souls games work fine. But they also arent really about items.
Really? Nah. It’s gotta be higher than that. I’ve done a lot of fishing for triple crits… the first and 2nd crits are relatively inexpensive… it’s the 3rd that costs an arm and a leg in obducite.
I got a Shako last night and triple crit the max life GA on the first try (only time I’ve done that so far in S6) but I have had success overall. I’ve got 5 or 6 triple crit items between my sorc and SB with all the rest being 2/1.
I’ve spent a fair amount of time farming obducite but like I said… getting the first 2 crits isn’t all that expensive.
tempering is not bad… the way it was implemented is bad.
Was referring to triple hits to every item, 2 crits is easy. Playing with 2 crits is sometimes like playing one-legged, some builds really do require the triple crits to activate properly.
Sorc has triple crits on 5 of 9 items… SB on 4 of 9 items. All the rest are double crits. Either I’m incredibly lucky or that 0.8% number is way off. Don’t much care… but just pointing out that it’s definitely not as difficult as people make it out to be. Just farm up obducite and pull the lever till you hit the jackpot.

Edit: If you’re saying 0.8% to have triple crits on all items… I’ll call BS on that too. I’d wager I can spend a few hours farming up 100k obducite and be 9 of 9 on my sorc but I don’t consider it gamebreaking enough to bother.

100k obducite aren’t enough to give you triple target masterwork on all of your 9 items (assuming you understand that you want a specific affix to roll triple hit, not random), plus if you find a better item you’ll have to restart the process, you’re just talking nonsense here. Precise masterworking is required for many builds from other classes, not only for Spiritborn current metha.
I’m top 200 in the helltides leaderboard and getting there was hard by playing mostly solo self found and without RMT-ing. You’re saying you know better stuff than me? Sure, go ahead, gather 100k obducide, and send me a screenshot with all of your gear triple targeted masterworked. Easier said than done, in reality it will take you like 1 month of just farming rawhide, iron chuncks, veil crystals, forgotten souls to get there, So yeah, you don’t know what you are talking about, since obducite wasn’t the problem to begin with but rawhide or iron chunks.
You’re probably just playing something off metha with Sorc, because for Immortal Flame Shield/Fire Bolt Sorc, triple target masterwork on every item is a huge deal.
I’ve currently got 120k rawhide/iron chunks. Crystals and souls I only have about 15k of each… so yeah, would probably have to farm those a bit but that’s what nmd’s and helltides are for.
Actually I’m playing FB with a rank 40 due to the triple crit on the staff and gloves.
If I decide to go for 9/9 before the end of season and get there I’ll definitely reply with a screenshot.
The mats burn so easily. You’ll easily burn them and find yourself with no rawhide, iron chunks or veil crystals, it’s just a matter of when not if, already mined canary it, if you don’t believe me try it yourself. I’m not saying it’s not possible, it is, but it takes longer than it should in my opinion, they should rather create a new endgame that let’s you min-max more efficiently, rather than farming for mats/reset/masterwork tediously to oblivion or simply revamp the masterworking and throw us a bone so that people can min-max more alts rather than wasting time on min-maxing just one build. Just saying.

No issues with tempering. Brick your item, find another. Try poe2, most boring loot in arpg history. Here’s a godly item…

The existance of ancestrals is a bad designed system, we should chase for something else than same stats with higher numbers… Master Working should be the only way to increase them imo, and that’s good with its rng, we already get almost everything on a plate.
In previous seasons I would say that was workable. Season 6 not so much, especially for GA ancestral items. They simply don’t drop without the bad stats on them.
with the scrolls i think i “bricked” 1 item this season. i mean people complaining about bricking items still i think are rerolling the desired affix just because it rolled low
I bricked several just trying to get the rolls needed for my build. It’s not a case of getting something less than optimal, it’s often a case of getting something completely useless.
Yeah at some point that’s what you need to do to ensure an item is truly an upgrade.
Honestly just put people like that on ignore. Either they don’t play the game enough to worry, or they play so much they find whatever they need. Or trolling.
Affixes that they could get rid of from tempering, items and paragon nodes.

- Life per second - useless
- % health received - useless
- luck hit - % chance to heal - useless
A lot of aspects should be reworked too. they are all useless for any class and any build.
