Subject: Bug Report – “Akarat’s Tenet” Quest Not Progressing at Fields of the Giants

Description:

I have been trying to complete the quest “Akarat’s Tenet” in Fields of the Giants for the past three days, but the objective is not progressing.

  • The light beam (or totem) that should appear in the quest area is completely missing.

  • I have already completed the previous steps of the Tenets of Akarat series.

  • I tried all suggested fixes:

    • Logged out and back in
    • Teleported to other areas and returned
    • Changed World Tier difficulty
    • Turned off cross-network play
    • Played solo and in party
    • Checked the entire zone for alternate totem spawn locations

Still, the objective doesn’t appear, and I can’t interact with anything to proceed. I believe this instance is bugged.

Please advise on how to reset the quest progress or help me switch to a working instance so I can complete this objective. Thank you!

If all three totems around the Tenet are already lit, then you’ve already completed that one, it just won’t show traditional quest progression. Otherwise, you need to interact with the central Tenet first, and then light the three surrounding totems in quick succession.

The catch is, if you’re too slow the first totem will fade before the last one is lit and it won’t count. So far the best strategy is to equip movement speed gear or use mobility skills (like dash or teleport) to move quickly between totems. With enough speed, you should be able to light all three before any fade out.
