Stuttering in beta was an absolute pain….
And it’s STILL continuing on main launch?!?! I have a high end pc and I stutter like crazy. Frame rate drops.
It’s borderline unplayable. Are we going to see a fix to this???
There’s still no full screen mode, just windowed full screen.
Devs please help.

Same problem here. 10900K, RTX 3080. Stutter every 3-4 seconds. Game’s unplayable. Immensely frustrating. Gonna be demanding a refund if this isnt promptly fixed.

Insane. Hoping devs can provide some support on this topic. So much for $100 on the game plus microtransactions.
I can run almost all games at 250fps with no issues.

I am also getting the stuttering on launch and it made it unplayable especially when i a boss fight and you get rubberbanded to a complete different section of the room. Hopefully will get fixed soon.

I have a similar setup and had really bad stuttering. After about 10-15 minutes of playing the entire computer would restart suddenly with no warning. Have Temp monitors running for GPU and CPU and neither had reached a critical level. Checked windows logs and didn’t see anything that caused the crash.
I dropped the frame rate in D4 from 150 to 100 and dropped all the other video quality settings to medium or low and all stuttering and crashes have stopped.

I didn’t have a single issue with stuttering in beta but now the game is unplayable. Every 2-3 seconds the game freezes and looks like it drops down to 1-2 for a long time. Yet Nvidia is showing me getting a constant 120fps with a 3090ti paried with a 5950x and 64gb Ram.

Same here. Reported the same problem during beta. Huge frame rate spikes and drops. Tried turning on DLSS and did not help. I play much more graphically demanding games than this and it should not be happening.

I have the almost the same set up as Dramani, but double ram and double HD space, and not the TI. It got a little better with graphics on low, but not by much. Shouldnt have to do that either
Getting stutters here as well, running a RTX 3080ti and Ryzen 5900X. No other games does this.
Same issue here. Constant lag spikes and rubber banding/stuttering. Taking all of the fun out of the game, since I hoped they’d fix this from Beta and Server Slam

So after some digging around, i tried a bunch of things that didnt work. Today at work (of course i cant try it yet till i get home) i found someone saying to turn off the microsoft device association root enumerator and it should fix this issue. I plan on trying this later when i gethome from work, and ill post the results.

This worked for me!
To turn it off open device manager
View > Devices by connection > Microsoft Device Association Root Enumerator
Rightclick and disable.!

Seems to work for me as well. Still some stuttering but its very light compared to before. Thanks
Yeah I have the same issues. Turning that device off does not help. I could roll back to the older Nvidia Driver which gave me stable 60 FPS on Ultra without DLSS. Turning that one on made it worse with the older driver. But now I can’t play without it. This year truly is cursed regarding AAA releases

I entered the forum to find this topic.
The game is unplayable.
The game was probably tested on integrated Intel cards.
On them this problem does not occur.
Alright I lied. Teleported back to kyovashad and I’m right back to 10-15 fps.
THIS GAME SUCKS.
I am having the same issue no problems during the betas and now I paid for early access I can use. I have a strix 3080 ti ran everything and now i can’t even get past the first 15th it’s of the game. Really glad I had to update my drivers for them not to function properly.
Ok, I found a solution for myself.
In my case, it was to disable Hyper-V for Windows 10.
