Totally agree, it should not be happening. Steam libary shows I have no DLC but in game I own it even though I bought it through steam… lol, go figure.
See, I thought BN was 1 account for every platform…you buy something off them they give it on your battlenet account. Not…oh well you have to buy it on EVERY PLATFORM even though you bought it through your BN account.

Brought it in the xbox store… xbox store says i ownnit… in game says its unlocked when you try to click purchase at the character build menu.
It just isnt unlocked… which part usnt being understood?

this is true i had to buy the game multiple time steam for steam deck xbox for couch play pc all this twice cuz i play with the wifey 6 time same whit COD i had to buy 4 time to play on PC and Xbox this is so lame …

So I just tried to purchase the ultimate edition on the PS5 network and it gave me error 14002… and then now it shows that I own the standard and deluxe but if I want to purchase the ultimate edition I need to pay 89.99… #confused.

what i had to do on xbox was manually search for vessel of hatred on the xbox store, then find the edition i preordered, then install the addon that way, you do not see the addon if you don’t do it this way

This should have been beta tested. What a waste of $90.00. I pre-purchased the expansion months ago and the new character is locked. I even deleted the game and redownload it and nothing is working for myself or my wife. Xbox one X. What a mess…

Everyone who plays on steam but bought the DLC in-game, don’t own it. also I can’t even refund it through steam, so what a waste of buying the ultimate.
Same issues. The DLC is showing purchased and thats its already downloaded and doesn’t need to be installed. In game its showing the ultimate and deluxe editions of VOH is owned but not the standard.

Purchased via email advertisement, even came with a free month of xbox game pass, recieved rewards upon next login. Predownloaded the 94+ gig update today, but now xbox acts like I don’t own VoH.
Also, have only ever played D4 on xbox series x, no other platforms.
