I’m from SB and I only spent 2 hours in T1, everything died easily. I’m not polished and I don’t even follow the guide. I don’t make tempering or jewelry out of laziness and sometimes I look and I have an item that was level 30 yet and I haven’t updated it. In other words, anything you equip with synergy will kill everything easily.
I mean everyone expected the SB to be OP. In fact it would be weird if it wasn’t.
I don’t think anyone expected it to be doing 1000% more damage than every other classes and 60 pit levels higher than the next closest build.

We hade broken builds every seasson when they “tried” to balance them.
Imagine how it would be if they want to make broken class… Well you don´t have to imagine…

I think they need to increase the Torment difficult to at least 8. Spiritborn breezes through T4 so easily that it’s a joke. Increase the difficulties please!
getting all glyphs to 100 is easy enough. i got em all on 100 and it only broke the class/build even more. With the exception of Pit110+, there is nothing even remotely challenging anymore in the game with SB.

Other classes struggle at T4. Making T5-8 will only benefit the SB. The other classes won’t even be able to do that kind of content. They should either nerf the SB or buff the other classes to put them on par with the SB.

that is why I quit and uninstalled this game…
this god class release is awful and completely ruined the game for me. I will go play PoE instead. It is much better anyway.

There has never once in this game’s history had a contrast THIS wide. When you have one class that can easily clear the complete end game at 150 and the rest struggle to complete up to 100, that is disgusting.

I’m also having a rough time wanting to continue the season.
Usually I roll several different classes but having the SB THIS broken has kinda stolen alot of the joy from the season.
It’s like driving to work on the autobahn but you have a 1990 Sunfire, and all your coworkers are driving Lambos. You’re all going to the same place, but the other guys are going 300 km/hr.
It just seems kinda pointless to play anything besides SB at this point, but hey maybe I’ll feel differently about it in a week or two away from the game.

I play in a group. All throughout D3 I played a Barbarian but in D4 I have played a Barbarian, Rogue, Sorceress, and Necromancer. My regular group plays a Rogue and Sorcerers. By selecting what is the seasons strongest build my group can play whatever they want and we still finish the season doing very well against that seasons endgame.
All of the builds from the different classes I have played have been very fun. It is much more fun to play a strong build than a weak build. I’m happy that I have left behind the closed minded mindset regarding the different classes. Each season you can choose to be strong or you can choose to be weak. People will rationalize otherwise but if you choose to play a weak build for a season you have no room to complain.

Like you realize the difference is like a 1000% right? It’s hundreds of millions of damage vs trillions.
Are you suggesting that this is the players fault for not picking the ludicrously broken, untested, and horribly bugged class? Like somehow your a hero for not picking say a barb?

The difference is closer to 1000000%, if it was 1000% that’d be the difference between Druids and other classes from Season 4; and that would be more understandable.
1000% is “just” 10 times stronger.
They should have known how broken SB was going to be on launch, hell they were literally WARNED by streamers with early access during PTR and then with their week of additional playtime.
Blizzard didn’t listen. These are systemic issues with upper management. I don’t know where in the chain of command things are breaking down but there’s clearly a weak link that needs to be put at the start of the chain, not near the end of it.

Good post that illuminates the ridiculous power disparity between classes, with the ULTRA MEGA EXTREME outlier being the Spiritborn. But Blizzard is a tremendously greedy company trying to provide as much profit as possible for their owner’s (Microsoft) shareholders, and a giga broken class sells copies of the expansion like nothing else. It’s sad and ruins the game, but alas, it is what it is. It’s clear these devs won’t do a dang thing to nerf the Spiritborn, they are way too anxious and afraid of player backlash to do anything smart like nerfing the SB.

Sorc - 101.
For most of these it’s one individual person that has a clear; and the rest are stuck some 10-15 pit levels under them. Most gravitate around pit95 from what I can see.

SB to other classes right now is what a millionaire is to “normal” people.
Even more funnier, that the quill volley SB is a multibillionaire compaired to the other millionaires.
