it comes up as a gazebo with a purple star on the map. I pin it and walk there, but nothing is there. any ideas?
I think it’s supposed to be Sayeena but she’s in the spot she always is.
It has the icon/position of S7 Lunar event npc.
Intern pushed bug to PROD. Classic Blizzard quality patch
Dont fret, the devs are professionals and will do a hotpatch ASAP… maybe next month…
It’s amazing how everyone seems to know she’s supposed to be a vendor but somehow thinks she’ll be in ked bardu.
- Sayeena has become a vendor that sells Oath Scrolls in exchange for Spectral Ash. Oath Scrolls can be consumed to gain Unveiler’s Oath reputation. Sayeena can be found near the Reputation Board in Tarsarak.
i miss that little girl Ying Yue.
Ohh i know what this is. Grumpy, furry little being. Haz paws. Some special versions of this species are often compared to dragons
it’s a bug - he is the lunar festival guy!
HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE
Yet another bug. Anyone studied queuing theory? When the arrival rate is faster than the departure rate.
Without a great effort in counting, bugs arrive faster than they are solved. Not good guys.
I’ve stopped reporting them all because everyone has enough to do in life without having to do other peoples jobs for them. That and the ones I’ve reported when they’ve come up in discussions are largely unresolved.
Check your processes for sustainability Blizz.
That will open the turtle level
But it wasnt quite ready yet without farming 1 turtle kill to complete wild animals task
problem is, the icon is in ked bardu. check your map. it probably has it marked as well.
No. That’s the chinese new year event marker. There’s no reason to think that a broken marker, in the completely wrong place (and exactly where a different event npc was), would be marking Sayeena’s location.
Followed by a patch, then another, then another. Then they give us a patch saying it is finally fixed so the process can start all over again.
Well that’s a half truth at best. She can appear in Tarsarak… when she feels like it. I’ve got three HC toons and she only consistently appears for one of them. One can see her but she refuses to sell scrolls despite having several thousand spectral ash on hand. The other can’t see her at all.
She appears to be tied to the seasonal quest progression and without rhyme or reason. So people go to find her where the patch notes say to and see she’s not there… they see another icon they don’t recognize on the map and think, “Well, maybe she’s there”. Only it’s a different glitch.
Season 8 is rapidly devolving into “Season of the UI Glitches” at this point.
Thats just a preview… a small teaser of THE BIG SURPRISE the devs mentioned will come to S8. I wonder erm… what wonders will await us there once the portal is active. Stay tuned, stay awesome because thats what it will be
Really looks like a circus entrance. What wild potpourri of oscure and obscene extreme activities will await? Beautiful dark Succubi… pvp fist fighting in the fall down hope tavern… ohhh it will be so awesome.
That’s every season. It’s the only identity D4 has.
The point is that no one is helping themselves or the problem by saying they can’t find her in a place she isn’t supposed to be.
These posts should be in the bug report forum and they should say something like, “I’m not finding Sayeena by the reputation board in Tarsarak and why is there a map icon in Ked Bardu that points to nothing and disappears when I go to it?”
Because those posts HAVE been made (I know, I made one of them) and have been almost totally ignored. BTW, here’s that bug
Nearly two hundred people looked at it and only one person bothered to comment. Nobody offered a possible solution to the problem.
This forum only works when you shout loudly enough in the public square. Like the town criers of old you need to ring your bell as loudly as possible and shout to the heavens to be noticed.
Of course they get ignored. If it’s not an issue that hinders cash shop transactions, Blizzard isn’t in a hurry. Since most people live in the PC General category and too many people create new topics here instead of piling on the Bug Report thread that matches their complaint, Blizzard just waits for something here to catch fire before they think about taking notice and maybe prioritizing it.
There are too many bugs (Blizzard’s fault) and too many different threads about the same complaint (Blizzard’s fault AND players’ fault)… and Blizzard doesn’t have the bandwidth or energy or interest or whatever to keep up with all of their failures (Blizzard’s fault).
