So...which build did you use to complete the season?

…and did you need help for any of the seasonal objectives?

Did it seem harder, longer than in previous seasons?

Or maybe you couldn’t finish or just didn’t care for completing the season.

minionmancer for the season. Death trap for some fun time afterwards.

No help needed. Id say stuff was slighty more difficult, as you cant skip boss mechanics just like that anymore. But thats a good thing.

regarding the “needed time” to finish the season it was just a little more than s7. I sure hope they wouldnt have backpaddled on the progression nerfs. But i guess i cant have everything ^^

I 100% season journey with a necro minion build. Did it all solo. The only real difficulty was the lack of minion control over their A.I. on one or two of the lair bosses.

DoK Rogue with switching to DT rogue to level glyphs in order to complete T4 bosses( minus Lilith) in a reasonable amount of time.

I could have leveled glyphs with the DoK but I did the pit that last season to get to 300 and was tired of the pit so wanted to spend the least amount of time as possible. Glyphs currently are in the 80’s

Did not need help for seasonal objectives except Lilith on T4 which I did with the DT rogue.

It was more difficult than S7 or S6 but took me about the same amount of time 1 month. It would have been longer if I didn’t sell runes and was able to buy husks for 1b a stack.

Played minionmancer until that started to become annoying (T4 bosses), finished the season with sorcerer. Can’t remember how far I got with the necro, but I’m sure I could’ve finished with it.

I also went Necro Minions, leaning hard into the Shadow…burst? Shadow…blight? The Key Passive. Minions existed to proc the Key Passive, not for the actual damage.

Couldn’t finish the season with Stinger Spiritborn. Did it with Ice Shards Sorc. Also wanted to try the fun of DT Rogue but ended up still playing with the Heartseeker build I used to level with.

Can’t do T4 Lilith, even failed at doing her in T3. Maybe I will try again but I admit I lack the motivation for that.

Started Spiritborn, didn’t finish Spiriborn(T1).
Started Sorc, didn’t finish Sorc(T4). Got bored.

Rushing Claw / Hunter Spiritborn using Wushe Nak Pa to convert Hunter into a mobility skill. Ranks to Swift caused Rushing Claw to reduce Hunter’s cooldown, which refilled my Ferocity stacks. Rushing Claw then spent those stacks to recharge its own charges. Didn’t really need much help—just some assistance farming bosses for Wushe Nak Pa and the Shako I wanted. After that, it was all about getting the right aspects and masterworking tempers.

Also ran an Andariel’s Poison Shred Druid with Mad Wolf’s Glee. I opted out of Grizzly Rage and ran Lacerate for the skill damage multiplier instead. Needed a bit of help getting it off the ground, but I already had the mats when I started. I also used a different attack speed formula that seemed to function better than what most people were showing.

Both builds have hit for over a billion, and sometimes several billion, damage.

This season did take longer—but not in ways I enjoyed exactly.

I didn’t finsih the season journey yet…hell I don’t even have the cat, one more amulet craft to get it.

I made 2 alts …but the hardest thing is running pits without falling asleep to level glyphs.

Went minions first, then blood wave. Wouldn’t say I needed help, but I did take it. Ziggurat and Nyurei helped me a bit with about 60-70 boss runs. Then Nyurei helped with my final seasonal objectives. I didn’t even reach 200 paragon mind you. I have no doubt I could’ve done it all solo, given enough time, but I do appreciate the help.

WW/Hota build lvl 1-60 and then cleared everything. Swapped that to minion quake when it was discovered and have a offset of Hota/petquake as it has higher damage potential but I can’t be bothered to push on that barb when my sorc trivializes the highest pit a barb can do lmao. Also have another fully geared sorc that I used to speedfarm and speed run pit 100s.

I hated this season so much I skipped it, Thanks for asking

Sorc firewall (lvl)-blizzard (farm)-lightning spear+frozen orb (highend)
like all seasons since fractured winterglass was added.
It was hardier and longer for sure, cose season powers are useless for this build, and sorc was badly nerfed in season 9.

DT RG always, no help needed…

Althought the DR i have at home needed help from my RG…

At some point, I will get bored of the game and probably will not only skip one season but just stop playing for good. I am not there yet.

The game is more or less fun depending on what is done for each new season but the mechanics are always the same. For me, there cannot be a good season and a season so bad that I can’t play.

This. Not good enough for T2, don’t care to do the grinding to get there.

Bash/WW/CotA/Warcry Barbarian. Currently P145. I’ll just keep farming NMDs, lair bosses, & IHs for fun.

I played an OP Rogue but didn’t use Death Trap to do it, just wanted to see where and how far I get with it

Got almost knocking to the gates of T4, oh well, got the 6th phase at least

Then started some SB, finished the VoH campaign and kinda stopped playing. Yes, I bought the Exp when it was on Sale just pre S8 (as a backup if S8 was really that bad indeed)
