Druid

They buffed Druid companion base active damage but heavily nerfed the companion legendary (from “companions gain 100-150% bonus damage” to “10-20%”).

Companion passive damage hasn’t been changed though, so passively they will still be as useless as ever (not to mention the dumb ai where they don’t attack most of the time).

Nerfed Tornado Seek enemies legendary from 1-5 to 1-3 enemies as well.

They heavily nerfed the unique Amulet Melted Heart of Selig, from 100% resources increase to 30%, makes it not worth it anymore.

They nerfed Druid’s Perfect Storm key passive as well. Not sure why, it wasn’t even OP.

They nerfed Druid’s abundance passive, from “basic skills generate 10% more spirit” to “6%” per rank.

They nerfed Wild Impulses from “15% more spirit cost for 30% more damage” at rank 3 to “9% more spirit cost for 15% more damage”.

They nerfed Predatory Instinct from “3% crit chance to close enemies” to “2%” per rank.

Lot of nerfs to offensive and defensive aspects.

Overall Druid received more nerfs than buffs.

Sorc

Huge nerf to damage mitigation and cooldown reduction.

Huge Hydra nerf.

Rogue

They nerfed Rogue’s Advanced Twisting Blades cooldown reduction from 1-3s to 0.25-3s.

Twisting Blades aspect damage nerf.

Huge nerf to Countering Dark Shroud.

Shadow Imbue energy sustain nerf.

Where is source with direct info on all this?

It was needed to be fair. Anyone who didn’t expect that stuff nerfed would be insane.

I’ll just go ahead and not link it

Eh, I think this is fine. But I won’t link it. It’s literally on the front page of the Diablo Reddit so it’s not like this is some mystery.

No worries, already checking the source.

Looks like they nerfed a bunch of values, someone there hates the sorc!

The sorcerer needed it, outshined the other classes.

Everyone that got to play end game said Druid was super strong, no?

Checking out the Necromancer stuff and noticed this in book of the dead:

Command your skeletons to unleash powerful attacks on an enemy and then focus it for 6 seconds.

Actually, it looks like everything got pretty well nerfed. Even barbarian and druid.

Did they do anything about barb scaling because of too many weapons?

Considering mages were always fine in WoW in literally every patch of the past several decades, OP in D2 for all eternity, and fine in D3… I suspect they’ll be fine

Either way, they’re fun to play and my favorite class. No telling how the legendary affixes and max level will affect anything until ya get there

Yeah Druid was ranked top by many of the people playing the closed beta from what I saw. Barb was 2nd and Necro was last.

I know which class is still OP

As a sorc main Ice blades nerf is nice. The skill was nearly a requirement on several builds. I look at it as now I might pickup an extra slot on some builds.

Hydra nerf might suck early game, but its fine overall IMHO.

Necro got hit pretty hard too. But it’s still the most OP class it seems, especially for the sever slam.

Seems the skeleton priest ability is intermingled with a command skeleton?

That is what it looks like. Unless it is something that can be bound to another key.

It is the same skill yes. The priest doesnt happen until after you have full summons out.
