id disagree on top notch graphics, but yea, it doesnt look like muck, i play it and its a solid graphic really.

The only person forcing you to play Quill Volley is yourself.
Personally, (Season 6) I used Scourge, turned it into an Always-On Poison Aura that Chilled, Slowed, and Feared all enemies 100% of the time (except bosses). I paired it with Toxic Skin. I was able to clear Pit 140. Didn’t go higher because I didn’t chase Mythics.

Also the smelter ascendency is a blatant copy of the Forge Guard mastery from LE. 
I rather like PoE2’s grittier look myself. Gives kind of a more horror feel to it. Enemies tend to blend in with the background too.
Not to say I don’t like D4’s graphical art style too though. I think both art styles work for their respective games, but that’s just a subjective opinion whether you like them or not.

what makes it look like muck is the structures and most of the time enemies are running it you you cant really tell what they are until theyre dead.
OMG, just watching half of the Path of Exile 2: Dawn of the Hunt Content Reveal video already filled me with content that could last a year. they added over 100 support gems, and my brain is already burning just thinking about the nPr and nCr formulas.
math aside.
look at how stunning and impactful their warrior skills are compared to D4’s sissy-ballerina-barb. Blizzard should learn from GGG on how to design melee combat and HOTA.

I prefer PoE 2 to D4! Gameplay is more fun, PoE 2 also doesn’t include Jay Wilson’s Spam a Weak Spell/Skill to use a Strong Skill/Spell/DesiredSkil/Spell

Go see an eye doctor better if you think PoE 2 looks like sht. And in truth, I know it hurts you that PoE 2 is already eating D4 in early access. How many character classes will be there already? And how many more ahead ? Now let’s have Blizzard take from GGG how enemies and bosses should be designed. I mean their diversity and appearance, I’m not asking for systems, because the fact that D4 was made for “invalids” is probably everyone has already noticed. It’s a shame that D4 even in terms of diversity suks all over .

D4 is already dead though. S8 was their last (to the power of 8) chance. The game is done, no one’s playing it anymore. You’ve already uninstalled it, so that says a lot right there.
Our time has come, D4 bad, S8 is the end of all things, the sky is falling, time to jump ship.

One of the biggest complaints of POE2 is lolmelee. There’s a lot more melee stuff to still be added, though, and is an area they are focusing on improving.
Personally, I think D4 has great melee combat. Unfortunately, like a lot of skills, much of it is under tuned.
Maybe somewhat in theme? Only so many themes to go around, though. Gameplay wise they’re vastly different.

I personally hope POE2 becomes amazing so Blizzard has incentive to put some real effort into D4. None of this “Good enough” and “that’ll do” stuff. Imagine this game if Blizzard actually felt threatened by another companies game. Good lawd, gah daym…
