Season 6: My thoughts so far

THIS, 1000%. I hope the devs are listening but who cares at this point.

Yeah, I found it to be such an incredible slog having to farm 6! Jah runes to be able to craft an Heir of Perdition. Like talk about excessive considering how difficult it is to find or craft Jahs in the first place. Should just require 3 legendary runes for a mythic craft, and then have it require 4 sparks instead of two or whatever. Mythics/sparks are a lot easier to target farm than specific legendary runes.

Agree with the vast majority of things you’ve mentioned.
I only started playing D4 towards the end of season 4, so I have no frame of reference for the seasons before that. But I got fully immersed in season 5 and I loved it. It was a new game, fresh, enjoyed the mechanics and the gradual farming of better and better items and I managed to triple masterwork the same stat on all my gear with relative ease (still grinded Hordes for mats a lot but that’s fine, they were fun), speaking as an old OSRS player, I don’t particularly mind grinding for the sake of progression.

But this season, the masterwork grind has completely taken all fun out of it for me. I’ve still got to masterwork five or so items before I consider my build to be complete the way I want it but I just can’t be bothered in the slightest because it’s not just the obducite I need to grind for now, it’s the rawhide. I’ve logged some decent playtime in S6 thus far and I must’ve spent easily over 180k obducite on trying to double/triple crit max resolve stacks on my pants and I’m conviced that it’s impossible

They’ve made changes to try and keep people logging in and grinding and instead have made it so tedious that people are logging out regardless.

Anyway, time to go back to RDR2 and forget about all my worries!
