S3 Patch Release time?

Does anyone have any clue when the s3 patch will be live? Is it normally early morning? Im in central time zone.

Itā€™s been as close as an hour before launch. Sadly we just donā€™t know. Iā€™d say check it in the morning when you wake up, then again before you leave for work. If you donā€™t leave for work then you got all the time in the world tomorrow to download it.

this past season the patch was available for download 1hr prior to the scheduled start of s2.

it only took 5-10mins for the patch to download and install if you have fast isp.

this gave you time to log in to eternal and take care of stash from previous season prior to season start.

There were multiple threads on the last season release (and in S1 I think) because many peopleā€™s downloads were only measured in kilobytes per second for awhile because their servers were overloaded on release day since they did not do a pre-release download so not everyone had to download the patch all at once on patch day. Like they seem to be doing yet again for this season.

Last season launch was also delayed by hours for whatever reason.

Itā€™s dumb for them to not do a pre-patch download like their launcher is designed for and is done in their other games. Not only does it get rid of the patch day download rush, but it allows people with slower connections to already have most of the patch ready on patch day.

It is usually around 10AM PST.

There is actually a timer in the main launcher page.

15:26 more to go. If this the official playable time, then the patch should be up a few hours before?

Donā€™t people know how to tell time anymore? It is only 7:00 am PST right now.

The usual time, here for me, 6PM GMT

Last time no one could download the patch because of the lag

Patch around 9am PST, 10 mountain, 11 central, and noon est. Season goes live @ 10am PST, 11 mountain, noon central, and 1pm est.

Yeah, Iā€™ve been baffled there has been no pre-download. I thought there would be one yesterday.

Its downloading nowā€¦ but extremely slow.

I downloaded at 100mbps and was finished with update in a min or 2 check your download speed settings by clicking where it shows how fast its downloading.

168 mb update? Highly compressed or not much to expect.

Compressed it was a total of 3.08gb patch.

168mb was pre-patch, now itā€™s downloading 5.34 gb which is quite promising.
