seriously 8kb per second to 14mb back to 10kb… if you cant get a patch right, at least let us download it :rofl:

so you have 3gbit speed ? good job, 1gbit here should take 1 min, no speed issue, just bnet being broken.

That doesn’t mean much. You’re getting routed through lots of places that isn’t blizzard before reachign the blizzard server. Do a tracert.

Go to your BNet settings and enable download limit. Set both variables to all 9’s. Fixed for me.

The people dismissing this as a you problem are ignorant and wrong.

There is clearly a problem on their end. I’ve never had a download speed this slow even when I was stuck with 1.5Mbps internet for several years awhile back (megaBITS per second, and barely got over 140KB/s at the time).

It’s downloading at like dial up speeds and it’s not our internet that’s causing it.

edit: and it’s a problem I think they fixed or perhaps there is a total bandwidth problem on their end and now I got my turn in line, but it’s going much faster now

Same here 1gb fiber and it is so sloooow. Can usually download full games in no time lol.

Or wield the The Oculus Unique wand and your downloads finishes instantly, but files are saved in random locations

I think there’s a bandwidth issue on their end. It jumped up to 5MB/s for a minute or so and then I checked it again and it’s back to 60-80KB/s. Also checked my own connection when I first noticed how slow it was going and while my internet is not fast, it is not dial up slow.

Maybe related to the fact that they didn’t let us pre-download a large part of this patch early like they do with most patches in most of their other games?
