I’d like if they made replaying the campaign into a real endgame mode. Same difficulty as other endgame activities, including NM dungeons. And of course similar rewards too. With all other activities still being active. Like, you can be running the campaign, come across a dungeon you have a sigil for, and decide to go into it as a NM dungeon.
More fun that how repetitive endgame often gets in A-RPGs imo.
If you cant do a job properly, you shouldnt be handed money simply because you try, and by your statements, are working and deserve money. You should be replaced.
If you ran a car washing business… and you had an employee continually scratching cars, costing you money, time, and resources, but hey hes trying… would you say awww its ok and keep paying him?
How could you perform a $10 an hour job poorly? That is basically a disrespectful wage that wouldn’t call for very much effort or skill. Just because you posted a job to do brain surgery at $10 an hour doesn’t mean you are going to get a master brain surgeon.
If you don’t want a dog poop employee then you will pay them enough to care. I have been a Senior Manager for 15 years and have never screwed over employees to further line the pockets of upper management or shareholders.
Didnt say it did. I DID however say there are expectations and requirements which are agreed upon upon hiring, along with wage, and when those arent met, the person needs to go.
Simply because someones working doesnt mean anything if theyre bad at it, and if they are bad at it, they shouldnt be paid for trying… (unless in training and their efforts and progress are within expections) they should be removed from trying and replaced with the capable.
Just go check out many of the job postings out there. Requirements and wages just don’t match.
I personally shouldn’t care. I’m making ~$150k now doing consulting work on 3PL analytics platforms for large companies. Just building automated reporting solutions pretty much while I get my PhD in Data Science. I have zero problems. I just see the difficulties of people that weren’t born with higher intelligence. They don’t deserve to just suffer and die though. These crap jobs were built for them and if companys expect to pay crap they should expect to get these crap employees.
Thats a different arguement. When you accept the job and wage, you accept the requirements of it. Choosing not to meet them because you feel the job isnt paying enough, though youve agreed to it… is asinine, but typical of the entitled, and that type needs to be fired asap.
D1? RNG
D2? Paid respec
D3? Free
LA? Free (yes it is an MMO-ARPG)
LE? Essentially free, it costs next to nothing to respec.
POE? Easy to find regret orbs… by the time you’re done the campaign you should have at least 20-30 of them plus the ones you get doing the campaign. Once you’re in red maps you should have 100s.
DI? Free
Never got into Grim Dawn. Any ARPGs that relevant that I missed?
It looks like free is closer to the norm than respeccing…
Weird I thought you were making weirdos laugh destroying your hand and could totally take over Asmon’s spot on twitch if you tried. You’re more fake than the average quorra poster lol.
It is actually common enough. Depends on activities you engage in, rate of accumulation will be different. However, no one really complains about respec cost there because it always is way less than the gold they have in their pocket or bank given that they haven’t died repeatedly to have their gears all broken repeatedly. And the newest system they got also give respec cash shop items for free for reaching certain threshhold level while you level a character.
Cant change your spec in LE without creating a new character. PoE respec is actually rather expensive honestly. Those are the two most popular games at this time.
I mean, if your argument is that the cost should be about the same as POE, then I agree?
Why does that mean? You get 3 total per character and then have to farm for them.
You listed 3 recent ARPG-ish games with respecs and only listed LA as having free ones. And that game is more MMO that ARPG and is still bleeding players quickly, so it’s hard to say how well that approach actually works. Grim Dawn also has respec costs last I checked.
EDIT: also, notice that the free respec games are all pay to win games (D3 was at launch too, but had to remove the RMAH after everyone revolted). I’ll take respec costs over pay to win, thanks.
Quite expensive when you can you are just mapping and trying to get gear. Not like Divine Orbs drop out of the sky when you would actually want to respec.
Regret orbs are easy to find… but this is also a different system.
That’s what I’m talking about… ? You can also say screw that and buy them on JSP which was far better…
I named more than 3… D1 didn’t have any and was RNG the skill you got. D2 had the free ones and then you have to grind these dumb things to respec or buy them. D3, didn’t have respec at all and was free choice, LA? Free choice. POE and LE are both super easy…
Seems like the norm is low cost or no cost. D4, is far out of the norm with their scummy system.
Yea and they also have POB which is an entire program for experimenting. So yea… if D4 has a program like POB where I can add or create items, builds and with all the math POB does done for me… but until D4 has the equal to POB, I don’t care, respec is cancer.
