To be fair, all P300 means versus P240 or P250’ish is a bunch of points you dump put into main stat. So maybe 200-250 extra main stat; not some crazy power bump.
Given that you’re going to be in the range of 2.5k-3k main stat already without it, that’s just a 8-10% pump.
A pro D4 player being able to play in T4 doesn’t mean casuals can do it. What build was he using? How long will it take for a casual to bring a character to a similar level with the reduced drop rates next season. What type of activity did he showcased in his video? What was the efficiency of his build to do Helltides, Hordes or Bosses?
A casual who puts 50h or 60h in the season won’t make to T4.

After seeing this unless Blizz makes massive changes from the PTR, I guarantee you that won’t be the case.
I spent 30h levelling in the PTR. I made it to Torment 2 thanks to Boss powers only. I didn’t have a single decent Ancestral item.
Casuals will definitely not play in T4 unless there are again broken meta builds.
I think his self nerfed character is still stronger than a casuals. He has a mythic unique and two 2GA’s.
Neckbeards may be a bit out of touch with how little casuals play. But us dorks on the forums are probably fine.

I got 50 gaming hours in S7, and i’ve reached T4 20 hours ago.
My build has stalled 10 hours ago, so “casuals” will reach S8 in 40/50 hours.
And with a season lasting 3 months, it’s perfectly doable…

Did you try the PTR? You can’t compare with you experience in S7.
I believe it took me 25h to reach T4 this season. In the PTR, after 30h, I was in T2 thanks to Boss Powers, without any decent Ancestral.
IF it is this easy I wonder if they are going to balance things. This being true would destroy their 10% in T4 target.

I have a caltrop 4-Fun build in mind that doesn’t go past T2 and I’d like to be able to play it.
Amazing how the game is so much better because it’s harder but at the same time just as easy as ever.
Casual players that want to be in T4 will be. It won’t be as daunting as players and devs make it out to be.
It never was they compared S7 pit 76 to T4 which is easy sauce for any build. Sure you still have to find gear to get there.
Whats the point reaching T4 since there are nothing special, just more hp sponge or one shot bosses?
At this point why should we grind the same stuff for no reason?
