Bro! Telling you right now! You dont have a “ton” I’m paragon 260 and cant even masterwork hardly anything and I saved all my mats for the best gear i could get and i had 53k Rawhide that was gone in 10 minues was only able to get 1 item to 12 and one to 8 with that 53k!!
It’s absolutely a bottleneck and has caused me to stop playing. I’m not going to suffice to 5 hours of killing bosses and what not for Rawhide and get maybe 20k to be gone in 1 minute with nothing axtually upgraded. Which in effect is the point of the game and what we want for dopamine and pushing.

You have to add that you tried to double/triple hit some stats. Otherwise some non-smart people will call you a liar. But yeah, that’s exactly it.
You will need around 60k rawhide to triple hit one item and that takes around 8,5 hours of non-stop uber bosses farming.
If you think you could get ton of hide you probably haven’t played the game enough

100% all these people are not end game saying theres plenty. Theyve not attempted triple masterworks or are the most lucky human and got all their triple rolls with the 50k rawhide they may have had.

-70% of the playerbase playing the same spiritborn build
-blizzard destroys the build in the second week after launch, just when players get their build together
-all those players need to now switch to a different build with completely new gear
-no fix to rawhide for weeks completely blocking building new gear
-can’t farm duriel with bricked char, need a working build to obtain basic crafting mats from endgame ladder boss
-massive amount of players just quit because they’re hardstuck without being able to meaningfully rebuild their character
-surprised pikachu blizzard devs
my entire guild just stopped playing after the patch. it’s saturday afternoon / night and there’s 3 people on while we had 30 online tuesday night.

And seriously that is much of an effort? For having 1 of the best items you can get in the game? 8.5h is nothing.

Who said “1 of the best items”? You’re triple hitting you current gear. Maybe you get better one and have to do it again. Just imagine the reaction: “Nice, I got a 4 GA Tyrael’s Might, I just have to play 8.5h to collect the needed rawhide, a common material.”
And 8.5h is not realistic. Rather take more like 15 hours because you need the boss materials and the 8.5h is calculated if you finish a complete rota (sell-downtime included) within 2 minutes.
And don’t forget the other part: Oducite.
You can get around 5k in 15 min through helltide, so 20k per hour. It’s prob gonna take 60k obducite for a triple hit, so another 3 hours.
We’re now at 18 hours to triple hit one gear which you probably switch out by a better piece of gear in that playtime.
This all results in people quitting the season way faster because no one thinks “I want to triple hit my entire gear, which only takes 162h.”

i cant help myself but assume that people who lack rawhide or iron rmt for their items. like, i really cant imagine how people are short on these.

Because you’re in the late game, while other people already reached the endgame. If you try to double hit your gear at masterworking, you’ll see really fast what the problem is.
You have 50k Rawhide? See them fly away in 5 minutes.

I am in the endgame. Resetting costs 30 rawhide. masterworking 150ish. my stuff is masterworked. still resetting a few items. still sitting on 21k rawhide.
hence why i said, i cant help myself but assume that people who lack these mats are rmting. Of course i cant know, but otherwise i cant explain this.

resetting a dungeon hardly is an exploit. Neither is it an exploit that he has access to a partymembers unfinished stronghold.
they need to make iron and hide tradable so it can be duped like gold.

it’s the party join leave issue which was very close to the dupe issue with boss mats last league. it’s okay if you can’t comprehend. just post elsewhere
not really similar at all. Hes joining an instance where the stronghold isnt finished and they keep resetting it. normal interaction there. If blizzard doesnt want that, theyll remove it.
On the other hand, if you are deeply sure that this is an exploit, you are actually breaking the forum rules, as you are showing how to do it.
