Sadly they have never adressed it. Actually the staff isnt even on these forums anymore it looks like.
So we can just hope it gets better, last staff sighting, more than 2 month old.

Same problem - Last time i buy something from Blizzard. They now there is a problem, they continue to sell the game without warnings or fixups despite knowing that so many people will run into this problem.

The solution above of setting adapter to 1 works temporarily but it gets overwritten during runtime. Crash every minute or so otherwise.

Running RTX 4070 Super Ti, so it’s not as some guess their lesser card or video chip, it’s D4 expansion problem because it’s non existent in my other games. Please fix your expensive game Blizzard team, please!

Same problem here. Played D4 for long hours since launch and as recent as last month and never had it crash before. Started playing the expansion today and it crashed 3 times already.

Worked perfectly until the expansion, now crashes every 5-60 minutes.

With the expansion release I started to experience this error as well. It seems wide spread problem after reading the board and reddit. Nothing has changed on my PC - it is clear of any bloat and only used for gaming - Steam, Discord, fresh Drivers. That’s it. Before the expansion I had dozen sessions where I was without single crash for more than 10 hours straight.
Having the same crash here, every 60 min. It’s unplayable at this point, as this crash resets all buffs/potions and kicks you out of your current dungeon/realmwalker portal/pit.
I had my first message a few days ago. (In between: A week after the DLC went live and 3 days ago. I had a late start this season.)
Problem: The old PC with i7 6 cores+HT, 32 GB RAM, GeFroce 1070, … suddenly decided that the “prism …” message was needed.
I had the screen going dark 2x too when the game was “very active”. (So my hardware could be damaged or too old now.)
I guess I might need to apply new thermal paste - I cleaned the PC a while ago and it is now cold outside.
Can we please get a fix for this? Is this reason enough for a refund? It’s all over reddit and the forums, yet there is no response.

i refundeds some hours ago with reason “technical issue” and got my money back. SEND them the right message and refund
