Pls remove Monster scaling!

so kilin goblins lvl 1 at lvl 4 or 10 is brain dead? but they can kill you if u do nothing

no its meant areas are of your lvl and you need to keep up with the buid/gear or you go back to farm the older lvl until you can do the new lvl

so why to lvl up just do evrything at lvl 1 if evrything is same no mater you lvl up or no evrything grows magicly with u

why go up in torment if the mobs will b higher then our lvl !?

look i seriously ddn thad issues with scalling at all, even my worst char the barbarian was swiping true content… yueh its not balanced and the way it works in open world still bit meh! i was fighting at lvl 20 3 4 shot mobs and a lvl 2 wiz pass’s by and he 1 shoting things, not fun to watch no. so something they need to work on, maybe let only players near your lvl join your world or that world.

cus peaples want more chalange i say remove tiers and as you go deeper chalange grow by it self so if you feel like you cant handle whts there you slow down or go bit back till you ready for next chalange 1 place is for low lvls others for mid and high you never gona stay near town gates and lvl up to 100 where is logic behind this

if you remove scaling liek you want, all your doing is making the maps useless once you reach higher lvl… by using scaling means that when you go back to that area things are still challenging and there might b content there for all lvls… if you remove scaling your rendering an area useless once you finish it. and from what i read from the devs theyre plan is to use thouse areas for seasonal content, so scaling in my opinion makes all the sense. yeh we might need easier modes for some people, but removing tier sin my opinion and scaling would b terrible.

Yeah, you can actually add a switch. If you want scaling - turn it on and here you go. If you don’t want scaling, just turn it off and become overpowered, but at the same time you have almost no loot from the mobs.

Yes, but on the one hand it doesn’t make sense, because you’re level two, you can go to the last region of the game and you’ll even be more efficient than people at max level there.

With this system, you don’t really feel any progression in the world, you never feel in danger.

There are pros and cons.

Don’t remove scaling that’s what World Tiers are for. You feeling too strong raise the Tier. If you getting 1 shotted lower the bar. That way every area feels RELEVANT and EVERGREEN!

It doesn’t automatically mean overpowered… only overpowered to past areas…

That loot is the driving mechanism. Lower level loot will want you to keep moving forward… just like in Diablo2. It is easy to farm in Nightmare Act5 but you don’t have access to Elite quality loot which really drives you to Hell and into bigger challenges.

The thing is that if you have bad luck with loot you could re run some past dungeons to have a chance for better weapon or something that allows you to progress more smoothly.

There are only 2 world tiers during leveling to 50… And the difference between 1 and 2 is not that huge…

I know. End game starts at level 50. Treat stuff before that like WoW or D3 until you hit max level. Thats how it seem to work in D4. It gives you time to level up, get some gear and bank Affixes. Please do correct me if im wrong anybody.

That’s not necessarily true because some areas have a minimum set level. For instance when we hit 25 in beta not everything was 25. There was that guy spawning at 35 and the Dragon Kor area was set at 30. I imagine there will be similar areas throughout the leveling process and maybe even in the campaign that’ll stop you if you’re not sufficiently leveled.

I’m not seeing many people talking about the legendary power system that is obtained in dungeons, nor the possibility of extracting legendary power from items…

I can’t imagine a worse idea than this… really, they deserve congratulations…

Another thing that needs to be better developed is the power of items. I don’t remember seeing any legendary power that was interesting…

I believe that low-level items don’t need to have a strong “legendary” power, but it’s clear that the system is the same as Diablo 3’s itemization, meaning the legendaries that drop will always be of the same level as your character, meaning from level 1 to level 100, the same legendaries will drop…

This system is very broken, everyone is eager to play, but they need to fix a lot of things in 3 months.

As others have probably said by now, if there was no monster scaling, eventually each region would be abandoned. You claimed D2 did it perfect, but D2 also had monster scaling lol, it was determined by what difficulty you were playing on. (Normal, Nightmare, Hell) which is the same with D4 now. Also, not sure if you noticed by the other 2 world tiers don’t unlock until much higher levels and you can change at any time. Thus the way the game is set up. If you feel you aren’t being challenged enough, go up a world tier. Challenged too much? Go down a Tier…and its also very dependant on your build. I was getting smacked up until I got some legendaries that actually synergized with my build (primarily, giving me a double dash with Rogue) on WT2 (world tier 2). Then it definitely felt like I was breezing through the game, except for some bosses (here’s looking at you Butcher and World boss Ashava). D4 is different, it is its own thing with a few elements from previous games.

The world regions are going to have Set Monster levels that scale UP with your level if you are higher level than the minimum area level for the monsters…monsters though do NOT scale down to your level

How is it any different from Diablo 3? You start a game and that game will be your level. All the monsters will be your level. Besides, like everyone else mentioned here, it’s an open world game. If they don’t scale mobs, then most of the world will be completely unused once players reach max level. I absolutely love the scaling.
