Pay to Win promise has been broken

Its actually true lol.

I don’t like how influencers were allowed to make all this content ahead of the game release, but I don’t understand why people are so upset about the “unfair advantage”.

This P2W is a terrible take because they didn’t have to pay in order to receive special access; furthermore they earned the right to the access by working their lives away to become successful streamers.

There is no ladder, there is no leaderboard, and the people with the most spare time will likely be the first to 100.

Good to know, since that have nothing to do with this discussion…

Early access on its own is pay to win with or without statue.

go ask refund then, quick! come on, do yourself that huge favour.

Dude, no need to get personal here. Just trying to bring a different perspective to the discussion. Lol.

They have to do a lot with this discussion. Because in 4 days you can already be lvl 100.

We’re not talking about that, we’re talking about 4 days early access vs standard edition

There is no different perspective, you’re doing a fanboy stunt.
This is the very definition of Pay2Win.

The only question remains if you’re perfectly fine with Pay2Win elements being introduced to Diablo 4 or not.

You will have a hard time getting to level100 in 96 hours when the most dedicated content creators didn’t even make it past level80 in 10 days, unless there are good EXP exploits people don’t know about.

What? Do you think you win the trophy? You don’t. They are just putting peoples name on a trophy.

This isn’t pay to win. It is an advantage and I agree this should have happened at season one because it isn’t fair to people who care about this but pay to win refers to buying power in game, not getting your name put on some statue. Is it even a real statue or some digital thing, I don’t know.

My bad, I misread it. P2W still refers to paying in order to receive power IN GAME. Special promotions outside of that should not be part of the discussion. I also have serious doubts that anyone here would have been top 1000 in hardcore, but will lose out because they bought standard. OP probably plays sc.

Okay, lol. Didn’t know I was having a discussing with an infallible being. Given this I suppose further discussion is an exercise in futility on my part. I suppose you can always refund.

Carry on.

Its not.

No ones winning anything.

You dont get one for doing it.

You dont get anything special.

You get your bnet account name put on something you wont ever see.

What exactly, are they/we winning? Lol.

You dont get any additional power. You dont get gear. Hell even though cosmetics are NOT “winning” content, you dont even get something cosmetic.

Its not true. Its a whine, and as others have stated, even if everyone started at the same time, I would bet a months salary that not a single person worried about it would even stand the slightest chance at reaching the first 1000.

Lets not forget about those of us who got to play in the closed beta.

Im already well aware of which dungeons are the fastest. I also could pay for more accounts and dedicate one to just doing resets for me now with the dungeon reset removal. Noones crying about that.

Its a whine, just to whine, because “its not fair, everything in life should be fair… waaaaah”

Get outta here with this garbage.

You are literally buying time which = power.
The fact you think having more time doesn’t equate to Pay2Win is baffling, time IS power.

It’s not so much that starting at the normal release time of Jun 6th the race will already be over, it’s that no amount of play will make up for the 96 hours behind you will be. If a single person who bought the standard edition gets in the top 1000, i’ll be surprised

Can you tell us what’s better than Anicas Claim?

Do you know who you are talking to? You don’t.

First of all making content takes time and any content creator who wants to release content for YT first few days is not 100% efficient.

Whenever I played Diablo 3 seasons I had a faster start than most of your D3 content creators or even botters.

Wudi also said he was not ready to play and that invite came as a surprise for him and that he was not prepared.
