Patch notes announcement

Most of those variants are Minion based with slighty changes . I dont see pure Bone , Blood or Shadow doing nothing .

so your point is that your specs arent pushing, thats understandable of course. i mean, youll always end up with some kind of meta. I dont bother too much with the meta most of the time as i always play necro. this season just happens that we are strong.

All im saying is that specifically for the necromancer its not really true to say its just 1 build pushing.

My point is that my Blood Surge or even swapping to Blood Lance can do again NM T100 in less than 15 mins or have a chance to pass Pit level 60 because now the boss fights for them are like 10 mins at level 154 or 160 .

im not too sure how they perform this season to be honest.

im all for reducing the entry level on the pits for the last materials to like 51 as well, just to enable more builds to masterwork their stuff. Also, buffing underperforming classes or rather builds for sure would be a good thing too!

Go back under your troll bridge, please. Did climate change cause the riverbed to flood or something?

The Pit is overturned and will be tuned down. Go do Pit level 200s if you want a “challenge.” Forum trolling is not a sport and even if it was you’d be losing badly.

I don’t play necro. However, I got only 1necro in S2 to level 95 with half bone spear and half corpse explosion build. Even with not fully dedicated bone build the bone spear was pretty damn good! Again, I am not usually playing necro, but with the new itemization I can only imagine that full bone necro will smash. Maybe you don’t see bone necros, because everyone is playing minions as they were the bottom of the builds in S1-S3.

Bone and blood have both seen numerous nerfs the past few seasons. Bone Spirit saw some buffs this patch, but bone spear isn’t what it once was.

So, similar story as twisting blades rogue.

Aw… did my very basic questions offend you? Did my asking if you have fully Masterworked gear at 8/12 prior to completing 61 just go over your head?

Just about every build can complete 61 given the new items. That’s why I asked about your gearing - there’s obviously an issue with either your gearing or personal skill level.

Deflect more. You claimed your gear was the best it could be, because you play on Eternal. I didn’t make that claim, YOU DID. Obviously your refusal to answer highlights it isn’t. Denial isn’t just a river in Egypt.

And if it isn’t? Will you keep crying? Or will you actually rise to the challenge and put your big person pants on? It must suck to live life constantly finding excuses for your own failures and ineptitudes.

Path notes are up. Doesn’t seem to be any changes to tempering. Prepare yourselves for the uproar.

Quite surprising. In the positive sense.
Blizzards spine held for a moment.

Because you’re running a Heartseeker build.

No it means that only a handful of builds are capable of going past 61 precisely because the bosses are overtuned damage sponges and summon adds with one shot mechanics in a game that has no real dodge button.

The other builds don’t “suck” they just aren’t gimmick oriented “immortal” builds. Build diversity is a huge part of what makes A-RPGs fun. Forcing everyone to play just one of a select few builds because a certain end game activity is overtuned is terrible design. It isn’t even a skill issue because those builds are often actually far easier to play, like the Sorcerer Firebolt/Fire shield build, but it’s the most braindead and boring build you can possible conceive of and I for one would rather not play the game at all than be forced to play it.

first i need to be able to play the game which i paid for …

atm i cant do that … so I DONT LITERALLY GIVE A F… FOR WHAT THEY CHANGE FOR BEFORE FIXING THEIR GAME !!!

Yeah, going to play Ghost of Tsushima, starting tomorrow. Until they get sorc and rogue endgame performance up to a level that doesn’t make me feel like i’m playing the game wrong.

I was just talking about high-end , NMD T90s-100 and The Pit . Blood Surge for lvl 100 Helltides is still super-fast but thats all , apart the normal “Uber” bosses .
All the point in that issue we was talking is about atm for high-end you have only 4 specs with their slighty variations (of +50?) in the game that can do bosses of The Pit good enough at level 61 (lvl 161 bosses) , the one that gives you the last material needed for enhance your gear , even when its just a bunch per run .
The same 4 builds are also ofc the same only 4 that can push to 100 and beyond .
Very bad design in too much ways imo .

hope they bugfix basic skill builds like Bash, Hearthseeker…

If this thing were a child… lawd bless it’s heart…

The patch notes are available:

Spoiler alert: they didn’t fix holy bolt elixir. But they did nerf some unspecified pit bosses.

Hate to tell you but Heartseeker has no damage mitigation tricks, nothing you wouldn’t do in any Rogue build worth its salt which is stacking Dark Shroud.

So no, the bosses aren’t overtuned in the damage they put out because I do get hit occasionally but I also have over 40k life because again why wouldn’t you stack life in a game where you know going in that Pit bosses do more damage than a NMD 100 boss.

The Rogue has no “immunity” skills. Some classes do but all classes have damage mitigation skill. Pro-tip: Slot yours and Pit bosses will stop one shotting you in Pit 60.

Anyway, your argument could make sense as far as the damage sponge thing. But AoZ was also a “broken build” only thing.

To be honest, I understand the reluctance to play only a handful of builds but even before the Pit and AoZ there were builds that were hands down better than others. Diablo games since Diablo 2 have always had meta builds. From Blessed Hammer Paladins in Diablo 2 to Necromancer Summoners in Diablo 4 Season 4.

If you’re not cool with that then Diablo isn’t the game for you.

It’s still the top performing meta build for Rogues this season. And while I don’t play Rogue from what I can see it’s about the only viable one too.

I never said their damage output was overtuned, only that they’re damage sponges. The overturned part comes from the echoes and their one shot abilities. Even then it’s only certain echoes that are beyond obnoxious.

Well then there really is nothing more to discuss on the topic. It’s fine to have boring but broken builds as well as fun but underperforming ones. However, any build should be able to clear certain benchmarks so that a player can engage with basic game systems, like masterworking, without being forced into a specific build. That simply isn’t the case with the Pit atm and has been a massive pain point with this game from the start.

Diablo 4* not Diablo in general but you’re right. Which is why I’ve stopped playing it. That doesn’t mean I can’t take to the forums and ask for what I see as common sense reforms to a clearly broken game. We all have access to these forums for one reason and that’s because we bought this game. So we all have the same right to use them to try and make a product we paid for perform to our expectations and more importantly to live up to the promises made by the developers.
