That’s what bothers me most, people hurling insults at the developers wishing harm on them or wishing they would lose their job or whatever. Just a bunch of ill will towards them.
But oh well, it’s the Internet. People are gonna be people.

There was a guy the other day threatening to shoot people. I haven’t seen him on since the thread got removed.
Wow, you would really have to be invested in that person in order to know they were suddenly missing from a thread.
Honestly I reply to posts, not to people. I wouldn’t know if you dropped off the planet or not unless I like, wrote your name down and had way too much interest in who you were.
I’d really have to be paying attention and/or having a one on one with the person that was suddenly removed.
But in general, I dont care that much.
If they are as active as me. People notice. I promise.
Ive been on Blizzard forums for almost 20 years, so sure, you get to know people. Especially with a ton of avatars to choose from.
But the Diablo 4 forum is new. There’s like 5 avatars to choose from and I really don’t pay much attention to who is who here.
I was suspended twice since D4 launched.

Because the mods consider that “trolling” or harassing.

Pretty telling that these forums blow so hard. The company that made it doesn’t even use it. You idiot.
The Moderation on these forums is like 95% automated.

Idk, might as well shut down the forums until S2 because people are just going to keep getting more aggressive and aggravated until our concerns start being addressed.

Actually, depending on who you are, you can do or say whatever you want, and sometimes depending on who you are, you can’t say much. But hey, we are playing on their court so we play by their rules, even if they are unfair, obscure, or only apply to some people. I guess in that respect, the forum is a lot like life.
Wording is key. What you say isn’t always as important as HOW you say it. Some of the trolls have mastered this into tricking others to respond in negative ways.

Community is in self destruct mode, while Blizz try and come up with a plan. A Little late I’d say.
Using the BG3 forums and then coming here is like getting slapped in the face IRL, the difference is embarrassing actually, and I feel a little awkward even posting here now tbh.
I blame Blizzard and more specifically Bobby Kotick for the terribly mismanaged launch of a potentially great game.
I feel bad for the dev’s, they were left holding the bag while the top gob counts his loot haul.
This is likely my last post on any of the Blizz forums, I don’t want to be a part of this community anymore I feel bad just coming here now, so just wanted to say my thing and wish you all luck.
When I look back over the community I can still see awesome people floating in the wreckage, I hope with all my gaming soul that you make it out in one piece, and maybe one day we’ll meet on a sunny path in the middle of a grove in some far away land, be sure to say hey.
Laters, it’s been a long road, time for me to take a different path.

I didn’t get that experience. My group tried BG 3 and was highly disappointed with the amount of bugs a game with 3 years Early Access had.
I’ll go back and try it in a few months though.
