Will the dev team be honoring that and patching DLSS 4 tomorrow or will you be putting it off indefinitely like you did last time?
“NVIDIA DLSS 4 Multi Frame Generation will be disabled while the team works on addressing an issue in an upcoming patch.”
Nvidia claimed DLSS 4 Support for Diablo IV on release day
why dont you ask nvidia about what they claimed?
Because it takes both teams and ultimately it comes down to Blizzard, not Nvidia. So I’m asking them. Not you, stalker.
again, we had this. noone stalks you. you are posting a thread on a public forum. Stop doing that if you dont like people you dont like to reply. Else you can also use the ignore function.
as you said, it comes down to both teams. Nvidia claimed it, so id assume the only reasonable step is to ask nvidia.
Whatever you say psycho stalker.
Anyway, my point remains. Not asking you, seeing as you cannot possibly have the answer. Asking Blizzard. And no, Nvidia are not the one’s to ask, because Blizzard is the one who has to update their files. Nvidia cannot do that for them.
sigh - you for sure are one to take serious.
you are asking me, as well as every other forum user.
if you want a direct contact to blizzard, use a support ticket. after 2000 posts you should know they dont reply to these threads.
good luck contacting nvidia bro.
ok ima be honest…DLSS 4 is only available on 50 series, and first batch of cards released are the 5090 / 5080s, like wtf do you even need dlss for in d4? lol you can EASILY run it in native 4k everything maxed to the crap with RT on probably, not that i would recommend RT in d4 anyways, it just burns more electricity for practically zero gain in graphics
seeing how you are apparently a tech expert. what exactly is DLSS 4 used for anyway? o.o
all these terms are pretty confusing for someone who doesnt know these things ^^
Wrong. You’re confusing Multi-Framegen with DLSS 4. DLSS 4 is available on multiple previous generations, with the most benefits coming to 4000 series (excluding multi-framegen).
Please be correctly informed next time you respond.
Also, making a Support Ticket is known to benefit you with zero answers. Support does not even read what you say, the responses are mostly automated. Once a person is reached, most of their answers are “Well we are not in direct contact with the Dev team. For best results, post on our Forums”.
So enough out of you, psycho stalker.
please use the correct channel if you want to directly contact blizzard.
Already negated your rebuttal with facts.
Leave me alone psycho stalker.
id rather listen to someone who appears more competent. You cant even chose the correct channel to contact the people you want to contact.
my question remains valid, what exactly do you need it for? seeing that even 30 series can easily run this game in 4k native, maybe not with ray tracing but as i have mentioned before, the gain is practically none. Have you seen the comparison with and without rt for d4? it is hilariously confusing because even still pictures look almost identical
i turned it off on my 2070 super. for some reason the game really becomes laggy then ^^
Improved DLSS means more stable 1% lows, better upscaling quality, and reduced temps/resource usage.
Your question is also not valid, because you were 100% wrong in the first point you tried to make. My reasons for wanting it are irrelevant. I’m simply curious if the D4 Dev Team will be on schedule this time or if they’re going to wait months after release to update it, in contradiction with what Nvidia has already advertised, because they’ve done that before.
This question is not for you anyway. You have nothing to do with it.
not exactly, theres almost no one running rt in d4 anyways, and theres a good reason for that.
you are asking blizzard to spend their already limited resource on something no one really cares about. Unless you have a very good reason to want it, and it is a very popular reason, i dont see how they would rush to do this.
this game is already very light, the 1% lows dont really show unless you turn on rt…
Dont post it here.
DLSS is not exclusive to Ray Tracing and has many benefits. Nvidia would not claim Release Day Support on something if that wasn’t the expected intention, however Blizzard has fumbled this in this past. It’s not even a difficult process and something that IS coming to Diablo IV. I’m not asking anything of them that they’re not already doing anyway, I’m simply asking if it’s going to be on time, as scheduled.
I’m not asking them to rush anything. Nvidia would not claim Release Day Support for a product if that wasn’t the agreement Nvidia had with Blizzard. I’m just trying to get confirmation.
No, but nVidia is the one the made the claim. It is not incumbent upon Blizzard to make a patch on the day of DLSS 4’s release. It may appear in the mid-season balance patch, but could be delayed until the next content patch as it is an actual feature. And outside of Blizzard’s scheduled patch days, patches are only done to fix critical bugs.
Multi-frame generation is part of DLSS 4. It’s right here on their announcement page: https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/geforce/news/dlss4-multi-frame-generation-ai-innovations/
You might want to look in the mirror here, bud. Your fly’s waaaaaay open.
DLSS and Multi-Frame Gen or Frame Generation in general are not the same thing. One is an upscale technology, the other is an AI based frame generation technology. If they were the same thing then there would not be separate options in every game that supports them to enable each one. DLSS 4 “IS” 100% supported on 4000 series cards, and has limited support on older cards. ONLY Multi-Framegen technology is exclusive to 5000 series cards. You are in fact wrong.
