No voices on first cinematic

It’s the first time I’m playing Diablo 4 beta, I was waiting for the cinematic but when it started playing there were no voices, only an ambient sound like in the background, and no more sounds on this cinematic.

same problem here, also i can’t hear any voice and can’t change voice language(no options under header)

Same here, no Speech locale to choose from. No (speech) voice in game.

Same here, no voice even later in the game, seem we can’t even interact with the voice settings

Same for me no voices in the game or the cutscenes. Fx sound OK.
in the menu the voice box is empty but cannot change it.

Same, in the Options the Speech Locale is empty. Also Voices are missing from everything, other sound works fine.

Yes, I have the same problem. In-Game the dialogs have no sound as well.

The same problem seems to exist for me and german localisation.

there is no voices on dialogues too. That’s because blizzard games don’t allow you to change the different language packs (same as voices+text) inside of the games. And because there is no voiceover of your language yet - you play without sound.

You can install several language packs in the Battle.net client and check this in game under “subtitles” option. And set “English” as the base language. Can’t test it because queues up to 180 minutes.

Another tip: install the latest NVIDIA drivers if you have their video card. Otherwise you’ll be out in the first dungeon and come to sitting in queue with me.

I can confirm, there is no voice in any of the cinematics I’ve seen so far. In case it’s helpfull, my language is Spanish, so I get the subtitles in spanish but no voices at all.

Luckily, I had no problem on the first dungeon @Trix, but thank you for pointing it out. I will give the language option a chance, and see if we have english voiceover but not spanish ones.

same problem here, all sound effects work but no voices

same here no dialog sound very bad for immersion

Played the closed beta last weekend and had voices, today no voices ! Any workaround?
All other sounds working only voices missing.
