No, I won’t buy the expansion for obvious reasons.
But I already purchased a pretty expensive game that stills in alpha, and today I relised in battle.net that it’s possible to download some ‘Pre-season content’. There’s no description of what it is really. In previous Diablo games you could dowload expanison content without having purchasing the expansion, which is obviously useless.
Many people have complained that we need to wait until season launch to download stuff, espeacially bad for regions with lower speed internet. So, is this a good thing (content for everyone) or is this another bad thing (content just for those lovely people that gave Blizzard more $$ and purchased the expasion)?
So no link, text or reference there but I’d need to go through X many hours of pretty useless content for myself to discover it. Blizzard at it’s finest
Read the original post again, please. For all I know this can be some PTR link and Blizzard didn’t put it down (which of course wouldn’t be a first). I just wanted a very simple question to what the hell is being downloaded with information at its source. Going to a Forum to have some “clues” about that is already a bad job
Pre release content. It’s the expansion and season 6 content. It includes all the changes to the game including stuff you don’t need the expansion for. Not sure what’s so difficult about this. Read the patch notes if you want exact details.
Again, Blizzard has realeased exclusive expansion content in the past prior to game launch. As they don’t specify what it is, it could be just the new campaing and class and so on (all things that are meaningless to me). Then I’d need to download the actual content I want again once season 6 is live. Again, all things that have happened in Diablo 3. Don’t undersestimate Blizzard’s power to make things difficult (and no I don’t really need the full patch nodes for a simple thing that could be described in Battle.net but wasn’t).
Man I don’t want to hear someone else talk about Diablo IV lol

I don’t need full patch notes, I don’t need a deep dive.
Something like: “thise will inclued all content for updated patch for season 6 and the expaion” is more than alright. They just didn’t provide anything
Mephisto sat out all pre-season with a contract dispute. With his lack of practice, expect him to start slowly this season. Keep this in mind when drafting for your FantasyDiablo teams.
On a side note: Ja’Marr Chase 10 catches 193 yds 2TDs , “suck it” for everyone who laughed at me for taking him at #2 overall.
I mean you say you dont want to read patch notes but then you are asking whats in the patch. Its in the notes. You dont even need to read the entire thing to get an idea of whats included. Dont be lazy man.
Is just the usual reputation reward and battlepass cosmetic season like in S5 and S4 bro.
You get a seasonal dungeon which you defeat a monster and enter a hole. No idea what you getting in the hole as it wont be as interesting as other VoH exclusive dungeon.
