Ninja horse nerf

Pathing now is even worse than it was before that older patch allegedly fixed it. Now it’s literally getting stuck on blades of grass, tiny pebbles on the terrain & invisible walls at random locations.

And making matters worse: the boost duration has been halved. Now it never lasts more than 1.5 seconds on open terrain, whereas pre-1.04 each boost lasted for at least 3 seconds. Now made even more obvious by the lack of standard item upgrades & more common CDR attribute spawn.

Just because you declared me a troll doesn’t mean I’m a troll, people these days seem to not fully understand that reality has certain truths to it and it’s not like the Matrix where you can just choose your own adventure.

I blame anime, video games like Diablo are still rooted in objective truths like character level/stats. Typically the people deciding they can bend spoons like Neo are the same people with smug anime girl avatars.

Ya. I dont know wth they did to the horse this season.

They need to revert back to S2 in regards to the horse….never got stuck and speed was good.

On the positive side though, you rarely need your horse anymore. Unless traveling to one of the world bosses, grig, Zir or durial….ya kinda don’t need them too much thankfully.

But you’re not wrong.

While I generally love this patch, I have to agree, the horse feels clunky. Gets stuck a lot and runs out of gas fast. Never understood why we can’t just blast through like in season 2, it felt so good.

Yea, the mounts are only for the Pony show in town and at WB’s so people spend $25 or so so they can AFK w/ their pony blocking NPC vendors.

the hate against microtransactions is so virulent here it almost made me feel bad about buying frostmourne

I don’t care about that, I got myself one (not the pony armor). What annoys me are people blocking the NPC’s w/ their mounts sideways all the time. And they need to make the mount actually move faster for more than 1-2 seconds at a time before getting so slow that it’s just as fast to get off and walk.

Imagine thinking that the pathing is what is wrong with having a horse in an action rpg.

I thought I was tripping, but yeah. They definitely nerfed the boost duration. Horses are back to being buttcheeks again.

You out yourself as various things, troll being just one of them. This high a ratio of pop culture references to vaguely complain about the real world, masks a brittleness & a sense of inadequacy.

Some of the invisible walls are its own thing, at least in helltide. Mounts have definitely been clunkier since start of S3 IMO. I’d suspected a boost nerf in S4 too, but hadn’t timed it.

They make horse able to gallop in towns, but worse outside. :rofl:

Not to +1 the troll or anything, but you only find those walls in helltides. As it’s that big worm thing that spawns out a chunk of ads. And it never unloaded properly. There’s your wall.

And was playing last season (for the first time) and horse boost feels the same. Maybe slower. But the duration is the same.

Can’t say I have noticed anything.

Horses getting stuck is because players watch the mini map and not where they are going or have poor control.

Boost duration is as it has been. determined by how far ahead of the horse is the cursor.

The mounts had a buff in season 2 journey. You know, the thing with the smoldering whatevers. It extended the time of boost making it easy to go all out, all of the time.

What I do like about this season is horses galloping in town. But what everybody, except the couple of trolls(or maybe it’s just one troll with two accounts so he can stealth support himself) is saying is true. You cannot sustain a full gallop for very long. Another “Who the heck thought this was a good idea” change. That and the gem nerfs.
