Anybody else having issues with the new season quest line not showing up? Its showing up for me but ive got 2 friends where the quest line is still vessel of hatred. Could it be because they never finished the vessel of hatred storyline?

I don’t have the seasonal quest either. Very confused.
Make sure they opted to skip out on the VoH Campaign, assuming they’ve completed it at least once before now. They still have the option in the character select screen.
Does not exist, I never did the campaign in season 6, it crashed consistently near the end, setting me back all the way to the start of the water pathway. So I skipped it. now s7 is borked because I cant skip it. Incredible design choices.

im having the exact same problem, no seasonal quest and cant get any coven favor.
also didnt finish the vessel of hatred awful campaign
If I never bought VoH I would be able to access the seasonal content because I finished the original campaign right?
So why does it matter because I bought the expansion?

Are you sure you created a seasonal character?
yes, its a seasonal character, i see the green crap on the map, can do the events and everything, but i cant get any coven rep, see the npc on the tree or get season currency
the quest itself starts in Gea Kul, close to where you spawn. If you can see the events and everything, i think you should be fine.
Did you go talk to the lady in Gea Khul? She starts it, so of course if you didn’t do that no rep will be gained. You can’t just immediately go to the Hellrots and expect it to give you anything.

sorry, fixed my post. gea kul is correct. somehow switched it up with cerrigar.
there is no lady, there is no quest, there is no npc on the tree…
i already lost the very little interest i had to play this season, see you guys when they fix this crap… maybe
Thank you everyone for the reports, if you are unable to start the Season of Witchcraft questline and have not yet beat the Vessel of Hatred main campaign, you need to complete the Vessel of Hatred Prologue before having the option to start the seasonal questline.
This is only for Vessel of Hatred owners who have not yet completed or did not choose to skip the Vessel of Hatred campaign, as both the Prologue for the campaign and Season of Witchcraft storyline begin in Gea Kul.

New questline showed up after doing the first few expansion quests and accessing the Den. Thanks

That is not correct, you can access the season with the base game only. You will need to have cleared at least the base game prologue and skipped the campaign.
For VoH owners, they will need to repeat those steps for VoH.

confusing… so, if I completed the base game in the first week of the game launch - im good to go to start s7, however if i comleted the base game and just bought the new xpac now i have to do more to start s7? seems kinda lame

You would only have to clear the prologue if you’ve bought VoH
