Necromancer: Paragon Legendary "Cult Leader" Node Bug?

Greetings,

Am I stupid, or is this node broken? To my understanding, all of my minions should get a 15% Dmg Boost per Minion type with the Legendary Cult Leader node but at least the Golem doesn’t (the only minion with a dmg indication in his skill description)? I have all three types of minions, so they should get a 45% Dmg boost. I tried to test the Dmg output with and without the node but didn’t experience any difference. Am I missing something?

it feels like all minion nodes are bugged, or is it just tooltips? my golem hp/dmg doesn’t change a bit when adding/removing minion nodes

Yes.

If you look at the overall stats of the golem itself - he doesn’t benefit from any of the minion nodes in the Cult Leader board.

I can actually assume it was intentional, because they have a separate board for golems, but it is just completely whack and I hope it will be fixed asap.

That would explain the lack of playability for this build. .

Hulking Monstrocity (Golem legendary on another Paragon board) does not work too.

can we please get a response blizzard ur destroying necros!!

Even in the golem only board he doesnt get anything from the legendary node or the other ones.

None of the summons benefit from the paragon boards outside of the All damage increases we can get on the boards. Its a bug thats been reported about a dozen times so far. Our summon necros are just wasted space till they fix this.

We need a Dev to check on this ASAP!
Summon necros are in need of hope and a lifeline!!

Can confirm, golem tooltip doesn’t change from any minion node.

Im on tier 4 and i just cant anymore , time to try a sorce after 40 freaking hours down the drain till they fix necros… the incompetence is insane…

Cult leader, Hulking monstrocity and every form of minion damage/life and golem damage/life have no affect on our big boy. And that’s just from the numbers we can see, as other pet scaling is hidden from us.

as if this is even a thing, would like to know if theres any updates on this.
I’m glad they’re tuning other classes and balancing on day one but how about fixing the base game first?

Confirm that paragon has zero effect on pets. Still dying at the same rate and zero improvement in DPS.

Claiming someone played this prior to launch appears to be an embellishment rather than a fact.

I’m having a similar issue. It’s hard to tell, but I can’t see my skeleton mages doing any more damage when I have this node or when I take it off. Hard to be completely sure because of the damage variance, but 45% should be quite noticeable since its multiplicative according to the tooltip. I am using 3 types of minions, so it could be a bug.

Damn, another hotfix/patch with no fix for this. Going to keep playing my bleed barbarian until they fix minion Paragon stuff. Likely won’t be fixed before the weekend.

Thanks for all the replies this far. Looking through this forum, I’m glad I’m not the only one addressing this issues. Hopefully this will lead to Blizzard fixing this problem sooner than later.

yup still not fixed, kinda broke my heart that all that time I went into leveling those nodes/glyphs were all for naught

really sucks to invest so much time and energy into this to have it be the worst build in the game. Really hope Blizz can get things working properly ASAP
