I agree 100%, man. I was going to make a post about it! They look horrible. A normal skeleton without all that glowing crap would be much better.

they probably made them look like crap so you have to buy the skeleton cosmetic upgrade for 29.99.

I’m with you. The bright blue color of them kinda sticks out and it’s not my favorite. On a different, random note, cosmetic items for these could be super interesting though if they were to release them

Valdrik is right. They are completely out of place in D4. They are so cartoony!

Agreed. They basically copied the D3 Skelton models; no Blizzard, Bad blizzard. Rolls up newspaper

For me its the Golem. Bone golem looks utterly stupid and doesnt mstch the bones kf the summons whatsoever, glow or no glow.

And youre all exactly right; Im sure its so they can sell us minion skins later. Which Ill no doubt buy

I swear I read something somewhere you could customize your skeles in some way but I might have just imagined that. Either way I agree it looks really out of place, I even think the blue “necrotic” glow energy COULD work but not as it looks now, it just looks like it was ripped from D3 not something made for D4.

There is a neon blue colored can from monster drink that has skeletons wearing big hats, same shade of blue.

Yup, agreed. It stands out too much to me and looks ridiculous. They need to use the monster-like skeletons, not the cartoony Diablo 3 ones. Looks out of place.

Also… if they could make corpses look better, they also look like the low-res ones from Diablo 3.

Can do the battle pass for $66.66 but if you don’t log in every day, you’ll lose it all.

Definitely agree. I don’t want any cartoony effects in this game because one it’s Diablo, and two it objectively looks bad with the rest of the darker grittier art style.

I agree, they need a major overhaul for their model. They look like boxes, not as skeletons.

It literally took me 5 seconds to realize they seem…out of place.

But I am sure this can be fixed with the purchase of a small micro-transaction of $4.99 upon the official release. lol

Agreed, i love the D2 necro. I really would like those skeletons back. Plus they need to make a proper build for summoners. I main summoners in every game i can. Sadly the necro is currently only really strong as a spellcaster.

I LOVE the idea of there being an unholy glow to them. The way they were implemented is the problem, they art style just doesn’t match yet and stands out. Hope they keep the glow but tweak the art to match a bit better.
