Double goblins were a meme in the D3, now it’s the anniversary event for an ongoing live service game.
Not a stretch to see why people would be disappointed.

Why not make the buff the whole time of the event? What negative impacts are they concerned with here? People being too encouraged to make alts or farm for gold i.e, play the game?
This is also the reason they really need to put exact date and times in their posts so people aren’t caught off guard like this.

The 50% gold is not live, and I have not seen anymore goblins than normal. They do drop loot bags though
Yeah, I knew they were not but it would have made sense.
I’m guessing they are more interested in player retention by splitting the events than in making one sweet event.
Or something like that.
Matters not to me since I would have been playing anyways.

Yes, they did. Look at the box for the Mother’s Blessing. It shows June 6 until June 20.
Methinks this is a situation where the right hand didn’t know what the left hand was doing. The article from May 30th with no note stating the article was “updated”, shows June 6-20 for the EXP portion of the event. Seems the teams aren’t communicating with each other properly like they’re supposed to. PezRadar shouldn’t have to keep doing what they forced Nevalistis to constantly do, which is come out and backtrack/damage control. It makes him look bad for no good reason.
They literally added that after they launched it today lol. When I posted the link that box had no date…
